I see the spirit of Al Capone evoked, waiving his hand in blessing over the memory of that establishment of the Eighties. There were three roughly similar places in that neighborhood. One, closer to Cicero Avenue, was so dimly lit and dirty that a patron might wonder if he was stepping on roaches crawling on the carpet as he traversed the room. It was the talk of the town. The vision of your memory that I see shows this club to have been much cleaner, with far more attractive, fresher, and less haggard entertainers. It was only open for a couple of years, getting shut down when all the overtly shady places in that neighborhood got closed by a more enlightened Town administration (though it's kinda tough to call any of the governing coalitions in Cicero history anything like "enlightened". You are very close. This topic goes back to my days. The club you speak of was known as " The 4901 Club". It was exactly as you describe. I remember my eyes having to adjust to the dimly lit room. The other club on Roosevelt was "The Spot". It had the same type of set up.

I was fascinated with these type of places & rember being surprised how many there were in that area. I do believe are-Wi69 is talking about one of the Lyons clubs. Those were right off I55 &First Ave. 294 was just down Ogden. You had " My Uncles Place", "Magic Touch"' "Petite Lounge", & "Piccadilly Circus", all along about a half mile stretch on Ogden Ave. There was a advertising type magazine called "Nightlife In Chicago" where they all advertised. I still have a copy I kept for nostalgia. I had to look up a couple of those names.

Hope this brings back some fond memories as it did for me!

Back in 1987 I went to a strip club and got full service in an upstairs bedroom and I'm trying to remember where it exactly was or what the name may have been. Long time monger, 1st time poster. I have visited Polekatz twice around 4 pm, and had a great experience both times. There is no cover before 7 pm and they have $10 Tuesdays and I learned that "happy hour" between 4-7 pm, where once again topless dances are only $10. Today a nice young lady named Quinn came by and we got on the topic of sci-fi novels and such. Any experienced stripper that's good at what she does (getting money from customers) will be very flirtatious and touchy feely while she has clothes on. Don't always fall for that trap. If that behavior continues and then some during the private dances, then you have a winner. As for afternoon visits, most clubs are less monitored and waive cover fees during the day. Usually the dirtier but often the less attractive girls work those shifts. They usually have to be because those times are often slower and they have to make their money from less customers (regulars even). I tend to be a bit or quite a bit pickier when I'm spending as much as I do (strip club mongering is a very expensive hobby; escorting / call girls can often be cheaper), so I don't really do the afternoon thing as much as some of the others here. But Club O, Fantasy, Jimmy's, Arnie's (if you like black chicks, but Jimmy's and Club O are mostly or majority black clubs as well) are probably your better afternoon bets. Fantasy and Arnie's will be the better value, but you get what you pay for (quantity vs quality, lookswise). Flat chested or nearly flat chested girls have been seen occasionally at Club 390 (probably the largest selection / roster of somewhat naughty girls), Club O (much less girls). You'll have even less options on days for Arnie's, Fantasy or Jimmy's. PoleKatz will have the busiest daytime shifts (especially on Tuesdays) but also the less mileage of the mentioned clubs, but I've definitely seen small boobed girls there.

Completion? Some guys have hair triggers (especially after getting worked up prior to any lap dances) or are even premature ejaculators so it won't take much to get them off (3-6 minutes of heavy grinding).
