Man I know how you fell, got a friend story. But cruising is stopable down there. It's obvious to blue what we do! However, we also as most here know already so this is for the rubber neckers and looky looks really don't look so darn obvious. Recently moved to NWI but still commute downtown Chicago for work, I pass through the south shore area every day, has anyone had any luck in this area, don't really want to make the trip further west.

I'm on the SE side as well. Not sure about South Shore but you could try 75th & Exchange along the Metra tracks. Mostly BSWs. You're much closer to State Line Road and the Harvey stroll but I haven't been down there in about two years now because it was dead af. Cicero Hotel was previously Sportsman's inn, a real hole. The renovation was really complete though, it's nice now, though the short time rooms are on the small side.

I'm partial to the Cicero Hotel. It's about a 10 minute drive give or take from 5th. It's top notch since the renovation. A one night stay cost me about $160 I believe. I posted some photos in the motels forum a while back. If you plan on coming and going with multiple girls, I'd recommend that you have them cover up just so that they don't attract as much attention.
