I don't think your first trip should be to Colombia. I have been many times and as of late it has gotten a bit dicey as far as safety is concerned. If you do decide to do Colombia I would recommend taking a wing man and stay together. I used to go to Medellin and Cartagena often. There have been many reports of druggings and street crime lately. Cartegena is going through a crackdown in the square and some clubs have been shut down.

I've been in the hobby for over 25 years and wow these streets are vacant. I remember a time where you could find someone at any given time.
