I don't have a theory for the uncle station right in front of the Belmont location, though. Perhaps they were serving as a deterrent?

Always go with your gut. Just know, if you decide to bail, give a quick call / text as soon as you can (preferably even before the appointment time is scheduled to start) and be honest as to why. In my experience, providers and booking agents will appreciate that info.

This kind of stuff happens, but better to err on the side of caution. Every one of us in this hobby needs to be able to walk / drive away casually if we ever think our safety might be compromised (whether that be from Uncle LEO, or someone else meaning to do you harm).
