On the subject of crap talent and quality nowadays I scooped a girl named Paige off 6 and Maple. First seen her days earlier near 13 and Cleveland and got her number. Digits worked and she was quick to respond and always communicated so I actually had my hopes set high that this was going to be a decent time. Called her, picked her up and found a spot. Started with a decent BBBJ for about a minute and then it went downhill fast. Stopped and complained that she was sick blah blah blah. Suck stop, suck stop, suck stop until she ultimately refused to do it any longer. A total of about 3 minutes. Yeah, what you see on the streets these days is just depressing, some times terrifying and it just keeps getting worse and worse! They're covered from head to toe in hoodies, even in nice weather, bad teeth or no teeth at all and I've never had a cigarette in my life but what ever they smoke reeks to high heaven. I wan't around here 15 years ago but clearly recall back in the early to mid 90's in Chicago there was a stroll along North Avenue and most of these girls were drressed to the hilt, even in the middle of winter, tight mini skirts, cowboy boots, exposing everything, it was really quite a show, truly some fun times.

Forget it now, the street scene here in like a low budget horror film.

If you're looking for the quality of yesteryear, looks like LA is the place to go.

I'm 51 and was in 5th -12th grade and do remember seeing the dressed up hookers and dancers from Ricky's at the hotdog stand my parents owned on 27th and kilbourn, they were customers and pimps in big Cadillacs ate there and fed the hoes, I'd see them get slapped around and pimps yelling at each other, it used to be about fashion and looking good, 20 yrs later in 98 I bought a business that put me at 30th and Lisbon everyday to load truck, for 10 years it was mayhem, decent looking babes all hours of the day, sometimes I'd throw a $5 out the window after going around the block after being flashed, now you can watch them flop around on the ground like they're having a seizure high as fuck on meth or something, sad.

The quality / talent has dried up almost completely everywhere, while prices still climb. Maybe on a nice Saturday afternoon during the summer or on an early weekend night will you see this type of action.

On a side note things are going to change drastically on the south loop in the next couple of years. I have a feeling activities will be moved strictly to g if not another strip completely.

I'm with ya Scooter, although I only go back 30 years. The short skirts, low cut tops, open blouses, heels. Oh sure, there will still plenty of dregs, but man, most nights was a SW fashion show.
