Desperation and inflated prices are a bad mix. Many of us witnessed the price increase after the pandemic. Then a lot of girls were very pushy when guys were returning to check things out. At EB, most guys were getting quoted over 300 for the backroom. Let's be real, there aren't too many guys showing up to throw money on the stage anymore. And stage dancers are starting to fade away. Seems like most girl's make their money in the back anyways. A lot of us got used to extras and visit different locations to see what options are available. Whether these girls like it or not, they are competing with the internet providers. At 300 bucks, guys realize they have better options outside the club. But I'm sure a lot of us return hoping things change. Doesn't seem like they will anytime soon. We go there, have a beer or two, and leave realizing it wasn't worth the visit.

Totally agree. Other than Bridgeport, I haven't been to a CT strip club since pre pandemic but frequent the Providence clubs often. The girls have raised their price to a point where I am trying real hard to stay away. My weekly visits have turned to bi-weekly and really want to find some OTC to eliminate visits to nil!

I have not been back to MGII since the pandemic, and I'm not sure I will return. But in the before times, this was a bar where you could hang out and get decent food if you wanted (depending on who was in the kitchen). There was certainly no expectation that all customers would spend money on dancers every visit. I think that what this dancer's behavior reflects is probably the desperation that a lot of these performers are probably experiencing as a result of the pandemic. I assume that this job is about as slow to come back from the pandemic as any.

While I understand your friend being upset and I'm not in any way condoning that blonde dancers behavior MG2 is not the best place to go for "lunch" when you are under time constraints. I'm happy he had a nice burger but guys don't go there for the food and he was approached by no less than three different girls so it's not completely out of the ordinary for them wanting you to give up some cash. But she was out of line and hopefully canned. Next time he should go to Five Guys and avoid the hassles and save some dough.

I went to MG2 last night with a few friends after having a nice dinner. At a real restaurant NOT MG2 (LOL see my review below for context) It was more or less quiet but there was some talent on hand. Saw one smoking hot blonde with lovely ta ta's. Hopefully not the blonde who hassled the burger guy. But she was with two dudes who were not relinquishing her. We bought drinks and the bartenders were both pretty cute and friendly. Another older larger dancer promptly claimed my friend and made herself right at home in his lap. I did not see any girls onstage dancing which is what I thought was the purpose of strip joints but apparently that's changed too. Finally some petite brunette goes onstage and I told my friends I wanted to go share some wealth and see some nudity. Go over and throw a 10 spot figuring to get things going. She grabs my cash and just starts talking. Fine. I'm not rushing anything. Suddenly all these guys who were glued to their bar stools all come over like I opened the floodgates or something. One girl only onstage. Then up comes this shot girl with devil costume. Sort of chubby. And says "Will you buy me and her a shot?" Now I can say I genuinely detest this shot scam. All the clubs do it. It's usually fruit juice and not even booze but I figured I haven't been here in like two years so let them scam me another ten. What was good is the shot girl had the hots for the dancer and proceeded to pull both her tits out and attempt to suck her nipples. More guys leave their bar stools. LOL. The dancer was shy. I said maybe you should just give her a nice kiss and then the two of them proceeded to make out right in front of me. That was worth the ten bucks I gave the shot girl. I did mention to the dancer that I didn't even get a dance from my initial donation and she said. "I'll show you my pussy". "Yes please" was my response. She did turn and show me her ass and pussy and they were both very nice. Then she tells me lap dances are $25 each but for real fun her champagne room was $400 for half hour. As he was waiting for his food to arrive, two girls stopped by to chat but said he didn't have much time and was just there to a late lunch. His bar burger arrived, which he said was pretty good for the kind of establishment it is, and as he was finishing a young blonde girl came up to the table, sat down, grabbed his hand and insisted to go to do a lap dance. When he said he was finishing his food, she said ok, I'll wait and then we can do a longer champagne room. Again, he said he was nearing the end of his break and didn't have time after he finished his meal. She then quickly gets nasty and says "What the hell are you doing here then, you're supposed to be supporting the girls, get the fvvk out. ". Now, he's not one to back down and he says to her loud enough for the bartender and everyone else around to hear "You won't be getting any business with that shitty attitude, b**ch".

As he finished up, he went over to the guy in charge at the time and explained everything that happened. He sincerely apologized and my buddy went to leave. As he was about to pull out of the parking lot, both the guy in charge and the bartender (nice blonde girl) came out to his car and again apologized and told him that they have had issues with that particular girl and she's not going to be welcomed back after that day. The did seem embarrassed that this girl would be harassing anyone and telling them to get out of the bar after spending over $20 on food and drink.

Just an FYI in case this younger skinny blonde with a crappy attitude who feels entitled to tell people what to do because they reject her LD and CR advances managed to talk her way out of it and still happens to be working there.

The dances were good but I still don't get the sense that this is the kind of place where extras can be had.

I used to go there regularly, no extras to be had there (barring some extreme luck). Same story at the sister club, Rockstar in Wolcott. Also, one of the girls had told me there are cameras in the VIP area at Hollywood, at the time they were installed (assuming this was true) they were being cautious in there. I don't know the situation now though.

I took another trip to Hollywood over the weekend. I only saw two dancers working, both reasonably attractive. I got different quotes for dance prices, one was $25/ song or $125/15 minute VIP room, one was 30/150. The dances were good but I still don't get the sense that this is the kind of place where extras can be had. The one bright spot was finding out that the super hot bartender Rose will also do dances. She is gorgeous with an amazing body. Worth going just for her.
