Two things I wanted to add here.

    1. Cameras are everywhere; every massage shop has at least one camera. The thing about video is it must be recorded to be useful later. Even low resolution takes up a lot of space very quickly. I have been roped into helping some massage shops with their IT problems. Most shops only have a live feed running or at most 48 hours of video stored. The only reason they do this is so the boss can watch the girls, and so the girls can see outside the shop to see who is there without opening the door. The point is you don't need to worry about a shop's cameras. In most cases, the video is lost within a week for any camera. Only large corporations and other large businesses care enough to keep the video any longer than that.

    2. There is a group of Latina providers that, if you don't go visit them after messaging them, they will send you threatening and graphic messages claiming to be from a cartel. You block and ignore them. Another group, maybe the same group, will call the phone number you messaged from, claiming to be the police (or similar). The phone number will be from the police, but it isn't actually them. These people have learned what telemarketers have known for years. They figured out how to spoof numbers (aka make their number look like another number).

BTT has a good thread going on this and the web site is locked down by the FEDs. I think basic full service was 350 so not that high end. The verification process was the key, though guys said they crossed out vital info on there I'd they still sent in there photos. One Spa insisted I only call in so they could keep a record on the type of girl I like. That was the last time I went to that spa. Ya all the shops have cameras but to send over I'd is stupid. The government makes Id, people in government have license plates that can be traced. Now a lot of guys are sweating it out that they are in a database on a cops lap top.

He said that the FBI doesn't call up Johns when they investigate trafficking or underage prostitution. They simply show up at your house, usually before 6 am.
So what was the scammer looking for. Just busting balls does not make sense. Figure they would want money. About a year or two before covid. Ya that's how I track time now. I missed a call on my own non monger phone. I recognized the number as my local PD business line. I called it and asked if they were trying to reach me. They said no, we exchanged some quick chat and common greetings and that was that. I am seeing more and more fake numbers or should I call them counterfeit numbers now than ever before.

What's the right forum for this discussion?

The guy on the phone sounded pretty legit to me. Also the phone numbers were real, though I'm sure there are ways to fake a phone number on caller I'd.

I'll just keep ignoring it for now, like the rest of my problems!
The Boston Branch of the FBI does look into Human Trafficking https://www.fbi.gov/contact-us/field...icking-victims But usually they are going after the traffickers and not the johns. I imagine if they found your phone number on some underage SP phone they may have questions for you too but in that case they would more than likely show up at your door. Do any of your friends know about your hobby? They may be messing with you. If you are really worried maybe just get a new phone number?

How to screen when meeting in person?

This may not be the right thread for this, but the theme is I don't want to be busted in a sting operation!

When initiating by meeting in public first, what do folks do to sus out whether the provider is not LE?

And the guys on foot they stopped? Again, am I being detained and am I free to go? In this state, you don't have to show an I'd to a cop if you just walking down the street.

All those guys just incriminated themselves by talking to the cops. You're under zero obligation to tell a cop anything. They had zero PC to stop any of them. They did it because they know guys get nervous and scared. Keep your wits about you, and don't say jack shit. They'll let you go because they have nothing too hold you on.
Cops break the rules and lie all the time (I've heard stories from so many providers about customers who show their badge at the end of a session to get it free). Trumped up charges are a thing. My money is on these kinds of strong armed tactics being used. Irony is the real criminals are the cops.
