Same thing happened to me. While I have not seen her yet we have talked before and even had an appointment scheduled that ended up not happening (I can't remember who's schedule changed). I was hoping to see her next week when I'm in town but haven't been able to get ahold of her.

This fever for using "trafficking" to go after sex workers in the last few years is a way for LE to bring more liberal politicians and the public along with their desire to arrest people. Some of it is done knowing there is nothing to it and to increase support for their efforts, and some of it is a real misunderstanding by activists about asian cultures and why women do sex work. The terrible FOSTA / SESTA law is another prime example of this.

There is a movement building to decriminalize sex work, a bill in the NY legislature now. Here's hoping society moves in that direction and reverses this trend.

Those "sniffing" dogs have probably been worthless ever since. Now all they are good for is sniffing pussy!
