Let's just say I had a "close encounter" a couple of weeks ago in our glorious (not) capital city. Now, I am extremely and I mean extremely skeptic, careful and alert. I pay attention to details and analyze everything and everyone to death, the only person I trust is myself. Being said, this rather stubborn trait of mine saved me a lot of drama from a LEO on the DL. I know there have been warnings and alerts posted lately, and the city is hot right now, stay out of certain areas.

100 hr is a fair price, the only problem there is no provider that looks average or better asking that price they all want much more. That is why it is important to negotiate.

Not sure if you mean $100 an hour providers that aren't good looking or $100 half hour, but there are plenty of great looking $100 half hour rate girls, ALL my regulars / favorites are at that rate or lower and this includes the very good looking Brooke and Star, and Amber Luv from Atlanta, haven't seen Trish but have been told she is also at that rate and looks good, so that makes 3 total that are not average, but good looking! With good service all in Montgomery, add the visiting Amber Luv and that's 4. 4 girls who could easily get out the business and settle down with a highly paid gentleman who wouldn't care or need them to work at all. Especially when they 'doll up', why'all should see them, I'm sure some of you have but these girls look amazing and just as good looking as any of the non industry girls you'd see 'dolled up' downtown Thu-Sat nights.

To those who haven't seen either, Star and even Amber Luv's pictures do not do them justice at all! I've told them both several times, and Amber Luv took some better ones semi professionally. Star has yet to take my advice, and neither has Brooke, even though Brooke doesn't show her face anymore she is a looker for sure, and she actually intentionally posted none accurate face pictures back when she did, likely with similar reasons as Trish. And if I throw in the now UTR Sky Blu, then that would be 5! LOL.

Taxman hit valid points on all mentioned, although I do think $100 an hour is unreasonable for a good full service provider. I think the going rates are very reasonable where they are currently set, which is 'on average' 100 / half hr and 160 / hr.

In our city there actually aren't many high priced providers that I have personally ran into, its usually the travelers who come through here without their cost of living adjustments! LOL. I think someone like Brooke could easily get $250 hr in another city, but she has enough sense to know better here.

But its easy to say 100 half hr and 160 hr is too much but consider the business, it is driven by youth, attractiveness, and ability to perform which all fades over time. And even the goods they possess that we so desire are worn out over time. For most there is or was a 5 year stretch of high priority demand. LOL.

In the end its always best to find regulars as Highway stated, they fall in and out of the business for everyone else, but always take care of regulars!

I have some of the very best dates and best looking and paid less than 100 many times, they are not hard to find if you are willing to negotiate with the girls. Just don't be rude when trying to negotiate and way over 1/2 of the girls will negotiate, cause lets face it even if you give a girl 60 for 1/2 hr that equals 4800 a week for a 40 hr work week or 249,600 a year.

What I have found it the higher priced girls tend to work less dates. This can mean more attentive and tailored service, but there have been some real winners on the 100 dollar end of the scale too. Its just a little more hit and miss at the cheaper end of the spectrum. Once you get under 100 these girls are having to really work some volume. Figure a 60 date just pays for the room, then meals, transportation, pimp cut and then they have to service the habit that has them out there. 10 or 12 dates a day just to survive. On the 250 end are girls that you can research and find out what their habits are and a lot of them are turning one date a day and can concentrate on the task at hand. The best are the UTR girls that want to pick up 150 - 200 to supplement their real job income. Then its even friendlier. Those are my favorites.

If you are on a tight income one idea would be to find a girl that you click with and become a regular and negotiate a better price. Quantity discount and girls like having a sure thing, since there is no scouting, waiting or facing the unknown. Seeing a regular is 100 times safer for them and a lot less work.

Seems like a lot of girls get into this profession because of the high cost of drug addiction, so while saying they could make a 6 figure salary sounds like a lot, when you consider that they spend roughly $2-3 thousand per week on their drug of choice, $150 k doesn't leave a whole lot for living a decent lifestyle. I can't say I understand drug addiction, because I've never had the urge to even try drugs let alone allow myself to get addicted to one, but I try to keep an open mind. After all, I know some people who drink beer (or harder stuff) every day, and still manage to be perfectly coherent and responsible. Still, it's hard to be empathetic with someone who has the potential to earn a 6 figure tax-free salary and chooses to piss it away on drugs while I am on a fixed income of approximately $1 k / month.

Having said all that, I tend to agree and disagree with the "supply and demand" argument. While it can't be denied that supply and demand has it's effect as in any market, it is a smaller consideration than you would think, especially when you consider that if backpage is to be believed, supply is plentiful. There are also other unique factors such as:

Clients' ability to pay: This kind of ties in to supply and demand, but in a different sense. $100 means a lot more to someone like me than it does to someone who has a 6 figure salary. Add in the factor that I'm a notoriously cheap bastard and it's extremely tough for me to separate myself from what I consider a large sum of money for something that only lasts a moment. Where I might toss $20-25 around on things without blinking, other guys look at Benjamin the same way.

Risk vs. Reward: It's easy to compare this profession to other ones, but be careful of an "apples to oranges" comparison. This really is more like specialty construction work when you consider the possible dangers and health risks. Sure, there are precautions that can be taken, but just like in construction sometimes accidents will happen. Add in the random chance of being arrested just for doing your job (the ethics of which is a whole other discussion), and then make the comparison.

Stigma / Ethics: You can't exactly tell your friends and family what your job is, unless they are extremely open minded. Unfortunately we live in a pretty judgmental society, even without the religious implications.

So what is my point? I guess what I'm saying is while I have a hard time separating myself from $100 at a pop, I don't think asking $100/ hr is unreasonable for what the girls do. After all, if I was an attractive guy thinking about getting into this business, I would probably expect the same price. I'm just a broke ass, so maybe I should just forget hobbying and stick to internet porn heh. But if I win the lottery or get a visit from Ed McMahon, there won't be a broke working girl in the Gump.

Basic economics! Prices are set by what consumers will pay! We've had a few good discussions on here about prices, but always nice to reflect. Can't really get too far into the criticism concerning hobbyists or providers because we are all in the industry. LOL.

But still it is fascinating that a provider 'could' work a few hours a day with 3-4 clients offering half hour and hour appts only for going rates, and make at least $300 if not as much as $600 a day with just 3-4 clients, reduce herself to a 5 day work week as not to 'burn out', and make at least $1500 but likely as much as $3000 a week, take two weeks off a year, and make at least $75000 a year, but likely as much as $150000 a year, non taxed! Almost half a million in 3 years. Key word 'could'. If not for drugs, other addictions, bad service, unsafe habits, pimps, etc. Heck, even 1-2 clients a day would have them at $25000 a year at least, and likely as much as $75000 a year. LOL.
