Hi all,

As mentioned in the title I'm a newcomer to the strip club scene. I'll be alone in San Diego next week and would like to experience some clubs. From what I've read in the forum, Cheetahs and Pacers are the most reviewed ones. However, I'm open for other recommendations.

Do you have any tips on how to approach to these places? Oh, and BTW, does anyone how could I arrive to the clubs using public transport?

Long time monger, 38 years, rare poster. With regards to Cheetahs I have been an off and on regular for 20 years. I am obviously not a spring chicken. I have said this in a PM, and I'll say this here, if anyone has the urge to throw $350 at a lady in the icebox, just know you always have the option of going to Hong Kong and getting a lap dance for $23 plus $1 tip to the mesero. Icebox is really deceptive. I've fell for it a number of times back in the day. What I learned is that girls who are going to do more things in VIP / Icebox tend to be more upfront. If anytime a girl says something like "you'll have to try it to find out" yeah nothing's going to happen. I do agree that the VIP with 3 girls is a much better option. I have negotiated and even had 10 songs for 150 $ in there once cause we were talking and enjoying each other's company.

TJ is definitely the better deal in all aspects. I don't speak a bit of Spanish but even then I was able to have a good time the few times I went. Due to the nature of my job going across the border is a bit more difficult for me so I tend to not really go anymore these days.

Went there today, tried the ice box with a girl, didn't get more than I expected. Not as lucky as you. The 100 $ five song is the best deal since the 'private room' is not that 'private'.

But afterall a good trip, watch some shows, throw some dollars, some private dance, fully relaxed.

It's all about chemistry and how comfortable they are with you, and actually whether they are even open to doing anything. Honestly to me going to the strip club is just a different type of fun that is different from MP, escorts. Meeting a girl that you think is crazy hot and seeing what she's into. Almost always a YMMV kinda deal, so blessing should be counted when one finds the right one. Platinum used to be my spot for this kinda thing, so I only used to go to Cheetahs here or there. Prior to the pandemic had one particularly decent dance (at Cheetahs), but nothing nearly as wild as what I used to get into at the others spot. When I went to Platinum recently it had a weird vibe for me, and everyone was different except for the bartenders, so I wasn't feeling the ambiance. There was one gal I was talking to that was pretty hot and asked if I wanted dances and implied that there may be extras, but definitely w / a pay to play context of "VIP is $120 plus tip", but it was the way she mentioned the plus tip and some other comments, that caught my attention and almost lured me behind the curtains.
