I'm certainly no expert on this area, but the impression I have is that the theatre craze was just a phase that was big during a period of time when law enforcement was relatively lax in that area. Most of those theatres were located in the Drew Park area and that area has been heavily "cleaned up", with much fewer lingerie shops, street walkers, etc. (e.g. Lipstixx has been relocated to its outer edges and the Pink Pony no longer even exists). Most of the adult bookstores / theatres are still there (at least the ones that had been known for the activity you're probably thinking about), but after a series of raids to the worst "offenders", the more "outrageous" of those activities have been severely curtailed. Of course, this is all just my general impression and I could be completely wrong, but it would explain why no one has posted anything about this in over 3 years.

There's a whole other thread called Adult Theaters here that has more recent accounts of activities, but not much the last year, ever since some publicized arrests.

I drive back and forth through that area to get to and from school. It is really dead now. Won't find much of anything in the way of SW's. There are four adult books stores in the area but only two of them are clean enough to want to spend any time in, namely XTC and Fantasyland. As for Lipstixxx, if that place is still open a year from now, I'll be very surprised. Almost no one is there, even during the evening hours. Not a good sign for a strip club.

Have some fond memories of that place though. But that's for a different thread

Looks like no one talks about theatres anymore. After trying my hand at aromatherapy shops, street walkers, escorts, this is something I am curious at trying. Does anyone not visit adult theaters anymore? Are they too risky?

I've always had luck at Fantasyland and never had any luck at Thee Love Shack. Now, it takes patience at any of these places. AND, if you go to Fantasyland your chances improve dramatically by paying for entry into the Pool room. Even if you don't play pool, some of the girls go in there to play because there's too many guys in the main club area. The pool room is more private because a lot of the guys are too cheap to pay for the pool room (good thing). And even some of the gals that play out in the main theaters are more likely to make sure you get your turn if you've been in the pool room being friendly with them. By friendly, I mean just that - friendly. Be cool and just chat with the gals that go in there. Let them make the moves. Don't run around the pool room with a raging hardon like a dog in heat. The gals in the pool room are there to avoid the guys that are acting like that.

i paid the entry for the pool room , no one was in this place at all , i am sure it is packed on the weekends . but i can only make it up there on thursday nights

I'm glad one of the theatre denizens said that and not just me. I've never understood why so many guys are into this sort of thing considering the low payoff probability. Typically the girls are skanks and even for those one normally has to wait for hours for a shared shot at that if anything happens at all. I guess some guys just have waaaay more time on their hands than they have money.

you are right , i went to fantasland last thursday night , not one women there at all . place was dead ........
