I went out for some BBQ at the Red Rock around 6 pm tonight, which the place (whole casino) was packed. After Dinner I went to play some slots and Was just chilling. I was not looking for any girl or expecting one, especially at the Red Rock, but it's Vegas right, you never know what's going to happen. I was on Fremont 2 weeks ago and it was also super crowded on the weekend but not bad during the week. The D was scanning I'd's or requiring room keys on entry, none of the other hotels were doing anything like that. They were also doing temperature checks at the entrances.

I was still able to bring a "friend" up without issue, although some of the security people seemed more laid back than others.

Also, those metal detectors at the ends on the Fremont Street Experience seem to just be crowd counters, the beep goes off all the time but the security doesn't care. Also you can just come in through a side street (which you would anyway if you were in a hotel) to avoid it.
