I saw a couple episodes of Vegas Undercover with Chris Hansen on MSNBC and it had Metro stings using undercover officers posing as casino girls. Just like his previous shows To Catch A Predator, Hansen would interview the men after they've been arrested and in custody.

I worked in a casino and yes, they did have reverse stings. It wasn't very often, but they did do it. I don't know why they don't do as much male stings as they do female stings. The one thing I could say is that the women were usually white. If she were black, I could tell right away. If she is asian, you better be careful, because you just don't see a lot of asian cg's.

I think the LE test is still a good start. Do not discuss any money, isn't that what prostitution is all about? You can go down just for talking about doing it for money. It's not something you want to joke about with someone you just met, you never know.

Spend time with her (female LE are on the clock) get her to drink and at least one of you do some feeling up.

I stopped mongering in the casinos because of poor service. Make sure you have a good understanding as to whats going to happen when you get to your room.

Maybe I should have used a different example...

Well of course I make that post that this morning and then a few minutes ago happen to take a look at today's LV Sun online home page where the lead headline reports some guy hit the Megabucks jackpot last night for almost $11 million at the Aria. Hope that's not an omen of reverse stings to come.

Reverse Stings in LV casinos not worth the concern

To make it a mini-consensus, I also agree w / Travelforfun and Redskinzzfans that a monger really has nothing to worry about in terms of a falling into a sting approaching a woman in a LV casino who is giving clear signs that she is a CG. Casino stings definitely happen but they are directed at the women. I've been coming to Vegas for many visits over many years and have never seen or reliably heard of an IN-CASINO sting directed at mongers. If it has actually happened I'd say it's about as frequent as the Megabucks jackpot hitting. As Redskinzzfans mentions, it's just not a priority and bad business to hassle customers that way. So to Ej833, go ahead and feel confident testing the waters on your next LV trip.

I totally agree with travelforfun, as to getting hassled by security or LE for picking up a CG in the casinos. In 30 + trips I've never seen it, not to say it couldn't happen. But if they hassle the guys, they won't want to come back to Vegas, so everybody loses. It would just be bad business. So have fun, but do be careful, you might have more to worry about from the girls.

TFF, sorry to hear about the dry spell, I hope it gets better when I head back. I know how it is, the thrill of the hunt sometimes causes us to miss the better option. Why is hindsight the one that has to be 20/20, foresight would be better, LOL.

Some will debate me on this, but I still say you have nothing to worry about as far as LE going after the guys in a casino. Only one time have I ever been hassled by LE at all in / around any of the casinos (that is in one of my posts from last summer time period). I have also NEVER seen any type of sting / bust in a casino where any guys were being hassled. Sometimes you'll see a girl being escorted out by security, but that's about it, and that doesn't even happen too often. There seems to be an unwritten rule that casino security and not Metro deal with the CG situation and even then they overlook it most of the time anyway. If casino security is escorting a girl out, think of that as a good thing. It is probably because they have either been too obvious, or have a bad reputation in that casino.

Just let the conversation naturally take a turn to her asking what your plans are for the night. Then just say that your plans are "spending time with her". (Or something to that effect). Once that part is done she'll probably say OK and start negotiations.

    April 15th Weekend

I did another Vegas adventure and this time split my trip up between 2 nights at Excal and 2 nights mid-strip. Mainly because I had some friends meeting me there Sunday and staying mid, but I decided I'd try the best of both worlds especially since my luck mid-strip is not usually the greatest (as noted in my previous posts).

So, I ended up shocked. The 4 corners was virtually deserted of any CG's. Sure there were a few here and there, but for the most part it was empty. None I was interested in anywhere, at any of the normal places, at any time I walked around. The most surprising was how empty the MGM was of them both Friday and Saturday. The slot area by registration where there are usually many girls walking around talking to guys, there were none. Zero. I went through there at least twice each night and never saw one. The long bar by the table games and Starbucks had a couple, but nowhere near the normal amount. Excalibur was also tame. Normally there are girls all over the casino floor there, and by the bars. Only a few here and there, and none walking up talking to guys by any of the slots or the escalator area from Luxor\restaurant area. I did not even see any of the "regular" girls that I know work in that area. It was eerily quiet from a CG perspective.

Neither Friday or Saturday did I end up meeting a CG that I ended up spending time with.

Sunday / Monday I was mid strip. There were definitely a lot more out and about, but the quality was much lower than normal on the Flamingo side of the road. I have no idea what was going on this weekend. I did however end up spending time with a girl on Sunday night, but I wish I hadn't. I got fooled by the clothing and she was quite large for my taste once the clothes came off. I'm still trying to figure out how she hid all the weight, I can normally catch that well before moving on to discussions. That mistake cost me 150, so it could have been worse.

Monday night I ran into a girl that I usually see south strip and I was tempted to go with her since I know her, and what she provides. It was early still though so I decided to pass. I did ask her about the south strip being so empty and she didn't know of any reason. In fact she said she'd head down and take adavantage of it! After wandering around for a few more hours (while gambling too) I was wishing that I had just gone with her. As I was about to go up the room, I saw a gorgeous blonde and started talking with her. Since I hadn't really had much luck earlier in the weekend and it was my last night, my typical negotiation tactics\spiel (from my older posts as well) went right out the window. I ended up "enjoying" her company for a little while, but while she looked great the service was not that exciting. I should have gone with my earlier sighting of the girl I knew.

So, for me anyway they were hiding all weekend. Maybe it was just that my ho-dar was broken, but I don't think so. I've done the Vegas CG scene so many times now that I usually can spot them without trying. Hopefully everyone else had better luck, or at least the upcoming weekends improve. My next real-life play-by-play update probably won't be until July or August.

You just have to escort your date past the security, right?

    Nice list! Thanks!

If I recall my hours of RTFF here I was sure even with security you just have to escort your date past the security.

Is that not correct? I'm going to be at Harrah's soon so I hope so!

Agree with 99% of the information on here. Only observation I had which differs was that, when I was there, TI had security all the time in the evening (didn't play during the day so honestly don't recall) and they were pretty strict about it. Aside from that, kudos to your friend for compiling it and you for posting it.

I know the MGM Grand does have security in the elevator lobby in the late night / early morning hours. It's never been a problem for a guest to escort a visitor past the security guy, just show the room key. That doesn't embarras me. I've never seen a security check at MGM during the day. NYNY is the same as MGM.

Bellagio has a security guy at the elevators even during the day, or at least they did last December.
