Look for the fellows wandering around on the casino floor wearing the red jackets. They are the tourism directors and will be happy to point out the working girls for you if you ask. You could also ask any of the cocktail waitresses wandering the floor as well.

I'm going to vegas in a few weeks, I'm going to be staying at MGM. This is my first time going so I don't know how everything works. Any suggestions or comments would be very helpful, thank you.

Caesars has safes, at least in Palace and Augustus Towers where I have stayed in recent years. Assuming older towers do as well.

MGM: standard rooms have safes in the cabinet under the television. IMHO, these rooms are overdue for an upgrade.

Planet Hollywood: Seen safes in the room, I forgot where but it was higher up, I think they were in the closet.

Do All of your rooms have safes?

All of the casinos I've been on the strip had safe. If they don't have in room safe, almost always safe behind the front desk is available for your use. It's lame to decide which casino to stay based on in-room safe availability.

I definitely agree with ensuring that you have a room with a safe. Not only because of the obvious, but also it keeps your valuables away from maintenance, housekeeping, etc.

I've never run into issues when staying in a room without a safe, but I definitely feel more comfortable with one. Now I try to get one with a safe as often as possible.

I was wondering, would it be good to mention the strip hotels we are aware of that do / don't have safes? It would give the newbs one more thing to not read, and be helpful to the rest of us.

To get it started:

Aria. Rooms have safes.

Ballys. Some rooms have safes (not sure of how determined)

Excalibuer. Tower 2 remodeled rooms have safes. Tower 1 rooms generally do not.

Flamingo. Rooms have safes.

Luxor. None of the rooms that I have been in have had safes (pyramid rooms)

MGM. 50/50 for me on rooms with safes. May depend on wing.

Tropicana. Pre-remodel did not have safes, unsure of now.

I was about ready to jump on the RTFF bandwagon with this, but I couldn't go through with it. That is only because you mentioned the Aria which hasn't been mentioned too much. From the times I've been in the Aria they have been scarce. Your best bet from what I know is to bring them from NYNY, Bellagio, etc. I would recommend the rest of the 4 corners further south as well, but I doubt they'd walk that far.

If you do find their hiding places in Aria (City Center in general) I'm sure several people (myself included) would be interested in knowing the details on your followup post detailing your trip. Which of course I'm sure you'll be posting.

With everything that I, and all the other members have posted, this should be easy for you. Just sit in front of the nightclubs (Studio 54, etc) and offer all of the hottest girls you see leaving $25 to go back to the room with you. Guaranteed fun will result.

One other thing to remember, is the super secret. That is walk around with a few of the "porno cards" from the people outside and make sure the girls you talk to see them. That way they know "you are in the game".
