Just make direct eye contact and smile. They will come straight to you if they are working. If they are just a club girl they will walk away. The casino girls will also be scanning for guys all the time and not focused as much on the a lot or where they are walking.

Relatively new to the hobby, and in Tallahassee, which is kind of a dead zone. Will be making my first trip to Vegas in early December, staying at one of the resort world hotels. Would appreciate any specific advice for that area and general advice for the city if you're willing to share. I would say I would trade info but who the hell goes to Tallahassee for this kind of fun LOL.

I stayed a Thurs night at The D to scope out the scene downtown while also trying to get some cheaper gambling in. There seemed to always be 1-3 CGs sitting at the long bar at the D. The other casinos were a hit or miss so it is very convenient to sit down at the bar & grab a drink or put $20 in the machine in order to discuss. And room elevators are just steps away.

Fremont is still good for mongers.

Its gets more dangerous as the night wears on.

The surrounding streets are still ok by Fremont east until 13th street.

Different days bring different classes of people, the mentally ill and homeless has grown everyday.

Thugs and savages seem to be the weekends.

I've been really lucky over the years.

I was just down there wed night and there were 8-10 working.

The below Freemont Street "hotel" advice is fine. Good advice.

It's the street and surrounding area that has changed. It's not safe to live. I question whether it's even safe to visit. It feels like it's at a tipping point. Vegas magnifies ten fold problems found elsewhere. During the day and evening, it's probably mostly safe; a freak show, but safe. . I would definitely not walk any of the streets in the late night though.

Golden Nugget at the bar near the table games and security desk (sorry don't know the name), Bunions at the bar near the table games (sorry again but don't know the name), and the far end of the Long Bar at the D. At the Nugget, if there are girls already at the bar and not your cup of tea, keep an eye on the walkway that goes past the bar. Not sure what working girl etiquette is, but you will see a few constantly going past the bar when other girls are already positioned at the bar, hoping to make eye contact and exchange hellos. Usually they show up later in the evening 9 pm or later. Recent visit didn't see many hanging out on Fremont. Good luck.
