Generally if you just plunk down alone at a bar or slot machine and make eye contact with the single women you see, you'll probably get approached. Above average dress won't hurt but neither is it a requirement.

It can take a little bit to separate the working girls from the party / club girls but usually the simplest way is that the CG's make eye contact / smile back keep eye contact and they'll usually approach.

Sounds like you might have just had some bad luck. If you went out last night it probably didn't help that it was a Tuesday night.

Sometimes you have to chalk it up to not being your night. You did the right thing, if things look really slow, you just go to bed. You also did the right thing checking out other places. I usually have my best luck sitting at the main bar late in the evening. I think I fit the profile of safe looking guy by himself (at least when I am at the bar late, I tend to be on a solo trip). Keep looking around, the CGs will see you looking. Also, don't look miserable, talk and smile, to bartenders and those around you. Good Luck!

Was in town 10-19-10/24. Just came back from Vegas, and I always stay at The Paris. Seems to always have something going on, and there is the special spot that I always check out, across from the gift shop near the elevator banks. After 10 or 11 PM, I have rarely seen the spot vacant, usually with some very hot young girl. I stumbled across "Melissa", a VERY HOT, I mean smokin' hot Vietnamese girl, mid 20's, smile to die for.
