I stayed at mgm grand last night and the amount of hotel security was more than usual. There didn't seem to be as many CGs as in the past, and I felt the quality overall wasn't that great. There are usually at least one or two hanging out at the video poker bar waiting for customers if you need some quick action.

The casino floor is also going through some construction at the moment which doesn't help as well when hunting for CGs. Also, a security guard is stationed at the elevators at night checking key cards.

I feel like the mgm grand is going downhill overall; between the crowd staying there these days and the construction, it's starting to remind me of Excalibur, although it at least smells better; need to pick a different hotel the next time I come back.

Correct, all CG's mentioned in my report were black (BCG). In my experience (and completely off the top of my head with no data to back it up), casino girls tend to be 80% black, 10% white, 5% asian, and 5% hispanic.

There is a long bar between the checkin area as you walk towards the sportsbook, I always see them sprinkled in there. Thats of course if you shop during prime time 12 a. M to 4 am.

I was there a couple years ago and just grabed a seat by the slots right off the checkin area. It was unbelievable I was hit on every 5 minutes. I sat in the same spot a year later and nothing. So you just never know. But to be honest the best part of the whole thing is the hunt.

I was a Golden Nugget hotel guest Fri (03/22) and Sat (03/23). During my stay, I observed at least 9 different BCGs. (If I saw them on both Fri and Sat night, I only counted them once.) Some were more subtle than others; but if you knew what to look for, you knew they were working.

Side note: It is just sort of funny to observe an aggressive, younger, flamboyantly outfitted BCG flirting with a older, milqueroast white male. Such a mismatch.
