I remember several years ago going to work NAB (which is about the same size as CES) and on the plane was quite a few very beautiful ladies that I was able to recognize as working girls. Concerning hotel rates in Las Vegas: Don't be fooled by low room rates until you factor in the resort fee. I have seen daily resort fees that are higher than the room rate.

This site shows most of the resort fees that are added to your room rate. Daily. Looks like they range from $18 to $44.

NEAR the strip might not include a resort fee. When you factor that in, the bargain rates ON the strip are not such a bargain anymore.

With CES in town expect a lot of traffic but use extreme caution at the Wynn. The CG's there are looking to land some high dollar high rollers and initially will quote you a small fortune to eliminate the tire kickers from the players. You also might have some success around the night clubs in the evening, but you have to be sharp to catch the subtle providers. Security is usually high this week and the Wynn / Encore are not known for being the most friendly environment for CG's but they don't seem to mind their guest bringing in talent from other source. They even have party packs in the rooms (at a small cost) which include condoms and other stuff that might make your date be more successful.

You are not generally getting that for $150-300 in LV. Certainly not from an outcall to a strip hotel. And no cg is providing those services at those prices.
