Legal Issues Section

I was just positive I had seen the Thread before, but I couldn't find it anymore.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Perhaps then, if the Legal Issues thread was moved to the Special Interest section, more members would participate? I hadn't looked in the Cities/States section of the Forum for the thread because it didn't seem like the place to look. I naturally looked to the Special Interest, Opinions/Editorials, and Admin section of the Site.

A couple of years ago, I seem to remember there being a thread in the Special Interest section of the Site for "Legal Issues".

I would love to see a section like reappear on the site. From time-to-time, there are legal issues that get brought up during a discussion, and often times, those discussions can dilute the Mongering content in the section.

For instance, there has been a debate going for a few days in the Indianapolis section about being armed while out Mongering. The debate has brought some members from other areas to the Indy board. While, I welcome their involvement, and appreciate the exchange of ideas and opinions, it has, regretably, taken up alot of space on the Indy board. (Unfortunately perhaps, but I have become involved in that debate, and most likely sparked another as well.)

If the Legal Issues on the site returned, then a quick note on the Indy section that all further talk about the issue would take place in the appropriate area of the Site would help keep the main purpose of the board from becoming diluted with opinions, and legal debates. The important reports about Mongering could then continue uninterrupted.

What does everyone else think about the idea?
