You should look at using hotwire to book your room as they have good rates! A reloadable visa or mastercard comes in handy for those reservation problems.

I like the Rodeway across from the dog track/poker room on Park Ave. They have taken cash from me at least once in the past. You can always buy an American Express Gift Card at Walmart, Winn-Dixie, etc and use that at places that won't take cash. The service charge to buy a $100 is about $6.

I have almost all of my old licenses and ID cards, and they all have the "wrong" address... You can usually order an ID card online, too, so order one before you move again.

A possible way around that is to sign up for Wyndham Rewards (Ramada's parent company). Use your business address for the account and book the room through the website. Your Wyndham Rewards account info should over-ride any info locally collected. It may obviate the need to provide your driver's license... and you'll accumulate points and benefits for future stays.

Disclaimer: I do not work for Ramada or Wyndham. But I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express recently...
