Sounds like the Lamplighter. Hopefully we don't end up like that here.

In Minnesota there were no one on one dancing. The stage is surrounded by a glass barrier. I called it pussy onder glass. I hope to hell that doesn't happen here.

I know. The girls are "independent contractors" and the bartenders get next to nothing, but interesting news.
And the situation may be different in other states.

Hopefully with everything opening this week the clubs aren't far behind.
ATF used to work New Solid Gold. Anyone know where she's dancing now?

If I can find something that pays more than $10 an hour, I could head back. But it's still going to take a while, because if my job ever opens back up I'm staying here for a little while longer to continue saving up. But more than likely, if I head back to Jacksonville, I'm going to be back where I was before on Lane.

Posts: 148Yeah, I meant because of the cost of parking! LOL. I would have guessed way more per month than the car payment! I have never lived in NY but have been there a lot, once for 2 weeks so I got a little hint of the daily grind as I was there helping out our NY office at the company I was at back then. Good times! Come on back l, man! Got to be better than $8 jobs here now! 😃.

Jacksonville is a car city, not public transport.
Different culture.
[. QUOTE=EthanX;4734230]Hey fellas.
Now, before you all tell me I'm a dumb fuck for asking something like this, I just want to say I haven't been in Jacksonville since about 2015. When I left, Cocktails had JUST opened back up after their renovations. And I absolutely hated the new look, because it crippled what I used to liked about the club. I don't ever see reports about Cocktails anymore. Did they renovate the place again? Am I the only person who hated the new look?
The Pony seemed like a freaking closet with no AC or alcohol in it. I do remember Paula though. By the way, is she still around?
I'm wondering if the Pony is still there? Did they close it? If it's still open, I was wondering why I never see any reports from it anymore.
That's all. Just wondering how things have been in Jacksonville since I left. I was considering moving back, but I don't have a car, and that city's bus system was horrible when I was there. But anyway, hope you guys are staying safe in all this craziness. [ / QUOTE].
