Guess the dancers are going to have no choice but to post on stg or make a only fans. This virus is really hurting the economy and congress really has to be more proactive in this situation.

Yeah, hopefully the next time some asshole slashes (or tries to slash) the budget for the part of the government responsible for protecting us from this shit, to the point where they aren't staffed well enough to do their jobs right, congress won't let that shit fly. An ounce of prevention, and all of that. And when the people doing that job get no-lube fucked in the ass and complain about the situation because they're not being allowed to do their jobs, the congresscritters who are supposed to be in favor of oversight do their actual jobs and don't let that shit fly, either. Ok, mini rant over.

I'm betting that the NFL being offline is going to have a larger economic impact in JAX than the strip clubs, though. I mean, there are usually a LOT more people paying for way overpriced beers at football games than there are at strip clubs.

As has been mentioned elsewhere here, not so many of them seem to be doing escort work as expected. There's definitely a huge flood of OnlyFans, etc. , to the point where that market is so oversaturated, I can't see anyone making any real money off of it right now. Perhaps when they realize that, more of them will decide to do escort.

I remember it, was it called Fantasy World? Or am I thinking of a different place. At least, with the name. But I definitely went there once, it wasn't my bag, and the girl I got wasn't all that hot. And the side door wasn't open for me, so I guess I wasn't all that either (or my tips weren't, LOL).

Back in the early 1980's there was an adult shop on Main Street just north of the Fire Station called Fantasy World. In addition to selling some adult toys and magazines, they had "modeling" booths. On a bulletin board near the entrance were Polaroids of the available models. Like a strip club you paid the clerk for the number of songs you wanted with whatever girl. The individual booths were peep show sized and had a large glass pane roughly from waist level up. A curtain blocked the view until showtime. And the lower partition had a slot or sizable hole for passing along tips (which were absolutely necessary). At showtime the curtain opened and depending on the tip the model would strip and cavort. One of the booths had a doorway between both sides of the booth. If the girl was a player she would keep it open so you could join up close and personal and again with the right tip enjoy mutual pleasure.

I agree that the these clubs should be eligible for either the ppp or even these supposed small business loans. Sadly though I don't see it happening. With the current mayor and city council who have the appearance of being against these clubs, will rather see them fail than reopen. I can see them waiting until the very to last minute let these clubs even reopen, if they ever do let them reopen. They were already making it harder for these girls to work, and with some high profile busts and the recently legislation to limit the age of the dancers to 21. I can see them easily pushing their morals onto the rest of us.

We are allowed to reopen as soon as bars are allowed to. Only difference in the beginning will be only dancing allowed on stage.

I know. The girls are "independent contractors" and the bartenders get next to nothing, but interesting news.
