I've been keeping up with all the news about the AMPs so I decided to go back to High Priestess in Tempe last week. I used to see Monica there but she's no longer working there any more. That same plaza for years "Brie" used to work out of until she got married a year ago (to a client she said, I got the heads up a few months before) and retired (at least for now) to not lose her good thing.

It didn't have a storefront sign like that of course but her place was open for 5 years or so and never got found out. Places get more trouble from neighboring businesses than the cops looking in on their own. Magic used to be next to a Christian bookstore, I'm sure that's part of why they moved.

Did she have a spot in the salon place? I don't recall an AMP ever being there, granted, I didn't look really hard. Magic was next to a plasma donation place and an icee shop, in a similarly lower middle class strip mall, they went upscale and are now on Tatum at Greenway, which is a much better neighborhood. Magic probably does a lot better there just because it's in a better location, better view from street, closer to Kierland (money). The problem is, you go to too nice of a strip mall and the enforcement gets a lot stricter.

There are bigger problems at 32nd and Greenway (Magics old location) than someone getting some additional services in private.

This week I went to Spring and saw apple, cute little thing and ultra tiny, very fun body slide and a good time for standard rates. Cave Creek and Bell is way north. This is around 40th St and Thunderbird and that area ain't so good. I saw some meth heads imagining some guy in a truck at Frys was oogling his gf and they wanted to start a fight with him. Nevermind that he was sitting in his car waiting for his wife. Bombed out Corolla with broken windows and they are worried about some guy staring at his girl? I skip that Fry's and don't stop around there typically. (Unfortunately, there is a Rainbow Donuts in there and ya know, I need to support local businesses.).

In my opinion, the sign alone is nicer than most of the businesses in there. I drive past it on the way to the 51 freeway, I'll keep an eye out.
