IMO you're all correct.

A short comment which got out of hand:

The Phoenix area is not a "Strip Club Destination". Dancers sometimes move to AZ because of the lower cost of living but then many are shocked to find the clubs don't pay well. Many hot dancers go elsewhere if they have no ties or obligations here. I've known some sexy dancers who moved to clubs in Atlanta, Miami, and pre-Harvey Houston. As DN suggested, you'll have to sample local clubs to find gems. IMO the dancers who are not originally from Phoenix may be more open to transactional arrangements because they have no local (family) ties who could disapprove of the activity. I agree local dancers may require more socializing. Yes, you may have to treat them more like girlfriends to convince them you're not LE, an alcohol bureau inspector, a pimp-wannabee, psychopath, or stalker. They may also be more aware of the social conservatism and the accompanying LE enforcement in Phoenix. (I know a local dancer whose in-club activity (not with me, damit) this year drew a $1000 fine and she had to engage a lawyer to fight it).

There are some dancers out there who do the clubs for all their income but they are a small minority. Many are supplementing income from other jobs and a small number are local college students. There are a lot of single parents out there dancing while their kids are in school, day care, or being watched by an SO or relative. Realistically, dancing is a lot like a professional athletic career. Eventually, there will be an endpoint. The older dancers tend to extend their careers through augmentation; personality; persistence or aggression; and occasionally more GFE. The smarter dancers plan ahead for a post-dancing career.

So, if you're pining for the great times in Miami, Atlanta or Houston, you're unlikely to duplicate that in Phoenix. Either book a flight, or get out to the Phoenix clubs and find those gems.

Personally, I like to find dancers who are personable, give me a thrill, treat me nice, and don't try to drain my wallet when I see them. In return, I become a repeat customer, treat them nicely, buy them drinks, and not be a tightwad. This approach has opened many possibilities for me. You may have other opinions.

As for what I post, I've mentioned before that I try to be discreet and not associate particular acts with named dancers, and sometimes try not to be too specific about the club. I know for a fact LE monitors this forum and I don't want to figuratively hang neon signs somewhere pointing to particular dancers. I may say a dancer unzipped me and wanted to bareback on the fourth song but I'm not going to say her name or the club. Occasionally I reply to PMs from regular veteran posters.

The situation in Tucson is completely different. It appears LE down there doesn't really care a whole lot unless a club has a shooting or becomes a drug den. AFAIK only one club has been shut down in the last 20 years. Later it was resurrected under a new name but the club continues its wild reputation.

This might be a little off topic but got me to thinking about the time I had a stripper go ape shit on me (not in a good way)! Years ago I use to frequent the strip clubs with with friends mostly in Vegas. One place we had frequent a lot was the Olympic Garden. This place was rocking back maybe 20 years ago. But after the remodel of the place it had lost it charm! It has long shut down! We started checking out some of the other clubs and came upon The Library which is located about 10 minutes off the strip. Mostly a place for locals to visit. My buddy and I had hit it off with a couple of dancers. We got dances and chatted for most of the evening. I had this blonde stripper who had boobs the size of basketballs and my buddy had this seasoned stripper who had been stripping for many years. She must of been pushing close to 50 years in age but still look good! We were chatting it up at a table when my girl had to get up to dance and my buddy had to visit the john. That left me with the older stripper and we got to talking. She started to complain that she was not making any money stripping and went on and on! Even thought we had laid some serious cash that night on these girls! She said she did not not know if she was to continue stripping. So I asked her what else she could do, if she had some schooling, an education? Boy was I was wrong asking her that! She went off on me and used every word in the book and stormed off! My buddy came back and asked what happen. Our night there soon came to an end!

I never ask these strippers what their plans are. I mean personally I'm not into talking to them like that. I've had strippers here in Phoenix get mad at me because I cut them short. I have an agenda. Either you are sucking or fucking or go the fuck away. In Phoenix, Vegas and Cali from my experience, they love to find that sucker that will chat them up and pay them for doing that. I once had a dumb ass stripper tell me she got paid $300 from a guy just from talking to her. She was from Phoenix, so I was like I bet you expect that to happen regularly. I asked her how many times has that happened for you. She was like 3 times. I thought she was lying, but overall three times and you expect that some idiot will do that do you consistently?

I think Tuscon will be the spot for me as long as I live in AZ. I checked out the thread and it's some good info and way more people posting on their that have great stories. On the Phoenix thread there are only like three members that consistently post, but they have very lame and uninteresting info.

This is a great HONEST AND ACCURATE POST. Great info. I'm not super young myself, so no it's not just your age. It's just how it is in Phoenix. A couple of things to note to help better understand is that a lot of Phoenix strippers work regular jobs and do the stripping part time. So confused because most places I've been strippers is what they do full time. LOL So that's where I see them having the audacity to think that you should talk to them like you would at a regular bar. A lot of the men obviously do it though. It's weird I never met so many strippers from Phoenix that have nothing to show for their stripping. A good portion do not have basic things like cars. If I were a woman, I could never let no dude touch me for $10 a song and not have anything to show for it.

Was at Bliss yesterday and they have this new girl Half PR / Czech. Amazing face and body. No dice on the OTC. She is one of the ones that work full time and strips part time. She wasn't bad attitude wise but she moved out Phoenix and moved back. So she has the outside experience with this whole strip club industry. Got a few high mileage dancers from her, more than the normal but still not what I'm used. I'm going to have to check out Tuscon.

I tend to stay away from Cali from what the negative I heard about them dancing 6 ft away and you can't touch the dancers. I know Vegas has some hot spots, but I'm not trying to pay killer prices. Thanks for the info. Will definitely have to check out Tuscon.

Well the all nude strip club (Dream Palace) used to have free entry coupons from the other topless club north of it. But you had to buy two drinks though. Dream Palace is ok if you let it be known you are just there for watching and not for private dances. But first see about getting the free coupon.

Also sometimes the research park there is known for hobbyists to go for car dates. I believe it is outside the jurisdiction of Scottsdale (being state land). So I think it is safe for car dates, I think.

I've been to clubs in vegas, phx, san diego, la, bakersfield, bay area, albq, el paso, lubbock, tucson and phx.

Of all those places phx ranks ranks close to the bottom only beaten out by fresno and vegas.

If you just want to chat and be with a pretty girl and get blue balls then hit the phx clubs.

Again, I'm older, so perhaps the girls like to play with you younger fellas.

3 dancers have given me their # over the years in phx and none have ever answered.

Nothing EVER happens in VIP that's worth writing about.

If you're looking to play I suggest you take the time and spend the cost of a tank of gas and roll down to tucson.

The women are friendlier, less expensive, and you can have a great time for under $$ and drive home with a smile on your face or maybe stay the night and play again the next day.

OTC is available and over the past 10 years I've had regulars in Tucson, el Paso, albq. And LA.

I had a hi-liter dancer I used to see but I didn't meet her at the club. She was working down here at the time we met.

Check the board down here and judge for yourself.

Only one problem. How many visitors actually read this post or any on here? Only hardcore mongers I'm afraid. The casual visitor and his buddies will be drawn to these places. That's why they are still in business making money. Lots of guys come out to Scottsdale with their friends to get in some rounds of golf in the winter. Guys will be guys. "Hey, let's go to a couple of strip clubs tonight".

Skin-pasties, overpriced dances, snobbish attitudes-sound fun?

Bones-same management as Skin-all of the above plus a bartender / waitress that will act like you're not even good enough to be there (my personal experience when I went in when it first reopened as bones just to check it out. There were zero dancers at like 4 o'clock on a Sat-bartender acted like it was my fault for not going in later-like I was supposed to know that open at 11 am meant no dancers for the first week or so until about 6). Please for the sake of avoiding an awful place-avoid!

Two places above are like being in a physics class (in an all male school) with an old guy professor who is monotone and continously rambles on with his "exciting" formulas and knowledge.

But wait, there's worse. Off to tempe we go and you should always! Avoid:

Elite Cabaret-this place is not elite by any means! Pasties, rip off place, stuck up dancers, oh and the hard sell on the cabanas (for hundreds of dollars) on the patio. That's right, cabanas on the smoking patio. You'd have more fun going to the dollar store with 300 dollars, and mixing and matching items (so that the clerk couldn't ring up 1 item and type in 300 times) and looking at the expression on the clerk's face when you bring your overflowing cart to check out. Their expression would still be better than most of the dancer personalities here.

Sound great doesn't it? Almost as much fun as waiting at the dmv for 2 1/2 maybe 3 hours and then having the systems crash or power failure. Definitely worth a repeat right? I think not.

But oh yeah need I forget the shittiest of shitty clubs? No way.

Dream Palace for the win, errr loss! This club is so bad that words cannot describe. Don't even think of stepping foot in this one. Please, please take my advise on this one. Takes rip off to a whole new and different level! And the hustle factor will be through the roof. You will be so lucky that you won't even (most likely as its been like 10 years since I visited for a whole 15 minutes and wasted I think a whopping 10 dollars) get hassled by a dancer, no it will be the greeter, hostess / waitress whatever she's called.

And she will be hotter (way hotter) than any of the dancers. But she won't sit in your lap or flirt with you like a dancer, oh no! She'll be fully clothed and sit in the chair next to you and maybe rub or hold your hand a little and try to force you to go VIP with a dancer without explaining that nothing great will happen there! And it will cost a lot! Fun times! Oh yeah, she will, however explain that they do have an atm for convenience. Don't even know what kind of ridiculous fees that thing would charge!

I've done some very stupid things and spent a LOT of money in clubs over my 20 years in strip clubs in az, but luckily not this day! I wish I could get my 15 minutes and 10 bucks back though haha.

Again, not here to be a downer or anything. Az (Maricopa county) has some great clubs, they just don't exist in tempe or scottsdale.

Phx is much better and not too far away. Hell take Uber or lyft if needed too!

Any to add to this list or any to recommend welcomed. I have my favorites (sugar, hiliter, bsc) but everyone's opinions vary. I don't think any locals would disagree that the 4 above are horrible however.

Just want tourists to enjoy their stays and to avoid any of their hard earned money to be wasted in the above 4 clubs.

No nothing like South FL. You're best bet is trying OTC with strippers not from Phoenix. Chicas is a great club for that, but it has slowed down since Vice Squad came in. You can't really touch the girls like that anymore. Phoenix strippers are very slow and complain about not making money, but most are lazy. I was confused on why some of them act like you should treat them like you are talking to them like they are at a regular bar, but the men in Phoenix do that. They also overpay.

You'll have to club hop, but there are quite a few dancers that come from all over. I've had my best experiences in Chicas, Jags, and Bandaids (this place is not very good anymore). T&A is a ok, but hit or miss. Bliss is dead but if you are lucky enough to find a girl you like, lots of things can go down. But this place is extremely dead. You would have to live in the area to make it worth while going there. Thing is you won't fine a ton of beautiful dancers here. If you are looking for that exotic flavor. It's limited. Lots of average looking dancers, that think they are stallions though.

VIP in Phoenix basically means you will get the same as the floor dance. Maybe a little more touching, but unless you know the girl it's not worth it. If a dancer is willing to do something she either be fat and ugly or overcharge if she is pretty. No Diamond Dolls here. So no 3 song FS with a dime stripper. LOL. Overall have low expectations and just be happy if something works out. I've been here three years and had some good experiences. It's a hobby. I didn't move here for strip clubs so I'm not going anywhere. Well unless the recreational weed takes off and I sell my house for a good profit. lol

Ignore button is available if you don't like what I say. But my posts are always original and accurate. Just because you like overpaying and treating strippers like gf's doesn't mean everybody else does. You don't set the rules here. So I advise you to take this somewhere else.

I also talked with many guys from Phoenix or people who lived here awhile at the strip clubs I've gone to. The info I gathered is that they overpay and "get to know" strippers rather than make deals quick. Some of them do, but the majority don't. So if somebody is asking about clubs and they come from a different place like Miami. The prices and the way to go about things is two different worlds. Unlike you, I'm trying to have people not waste their time and money.

Last I checked this is the Phoenix Strip Club thread.

The put-downs from those who migrated from Florida and other areas are an insult to the members who enjoy the Phoenix clubs and all that they have to offer.

If you don't like it here then pack up and move back to Florida or whatever strip-club paradise that you came from.

OR. Give the area a chance and explore the many clubs, dancers and opportunities.
