Hello again fellows.

A few reports here from different dates.

All these reports are during the week, different days but the time frame is pretry consistent. Always between 12 to 4 PM. I try yo stick to the places I know and haved enjoyed. Lets start with Chicas. This place has yet to let me down. I happen to have my gems here. Alondra and Estrella they both have great attitudes and are very friendly. They are both a bit older but still very great. Alondra might lack a bit on the looks but makes up with the friendliness. Estrella has better, much better curbs but she's not as friendly. Either way I always enjoy myself when they dance for me. Then there are theres pack of cubans. Some look great. I would say like car show models. But they are all business. They'll try to squize evey buck out of you. I can never remember their names but be aware, there is some roaming allowed but they are pushie and sometimes right down bitchy. I did take notice of a gorgeous pettite ebony girl she has the afro curl going, with very perky large Cs and the nice plum booty. I had dances from her and well I really can't complaint because I did enjoy myself but she will try to get you to spend. But for those noobs here asking the place is not bad at all. Some lookers, decent roaming and if you are willing to put a bit of time to know the girls, there is potential for much, much more. But know that it won't happen on the first visit.

On to another one of my usual spots, Bandaids. Now this place has its up and downs. I can honestly say that I prefer the night shift but on this instance I stopped on the day shift. I had some great times here in the past but lately it has dried up. On my last visit I encounter some talent here but I can honestly say that I feel like I'm invisible. No matter whether I make eye contact or tip on the stage. Most of the dancers seem to expect you approch them. And the ones I didn't tip are the ones that came over and are very pushy. Some of the heavier dancers can't seem to take the hint. Sometime even the server just past you by without even asking if I need a drink. I gotten to the habit that I just end up going to the bar for my drinks. It's really sad because I had great experiences here in the past but again lately it has been disappointing. I might have to go back to the night shifts and see if there is adifference.

Now to the BM. I had been avoiding this place since their renovation took place. Mainly because the change of the night time atmosphere. Well on the day shift things seem to have stay the same as before. However some of the staple of this place such as Dulce and Clover apperantly no longer work here. This is according to 2 different dancers here. Well I did meet with Unique and well she can be very friendly. She a petite ebony cutie, nice perky Cs and a firm booty. But my eyes where averted to a very slim asian dancer. Upon closer inspection, she's not great on the looks department but I very rarely encounter an asian dancer so I could not pass the chance. Had a dance with her and there was plenty of roaming and even mentioned take out but then chose not to provide her digits. So I might have to invest more time for this. Still did left somewhat happy. Well that's it for the moment fellows be safe out there. Also don't forget all this realistic tale is only a dream.

You can try chicas off 35th ave and Thomas or bandaids on 7th. Those are the closest to your vicinity. Hi-liter or bourbon are good alternatives.

In the immediate area but lots of open minded girls seem to stay in those hotels. Given the reputation of the hotels around there, I'd highly recommend a can of lysol. LOL.

Laid back might be a good description for either Dirty's or Bandaids. IMO avoid the VIP in the first.

As a general preactice I avoid VIP areas. I usually find what I'm looking for outside them.

I'm visiting from Chicago next week and wanted to ask about dress codes. Are shorts or sweatpants permitted, or is normal attire required? Was considering Chicas, Bandaids, Hi-Liter, Candy Store. After reading Higgs report, Essex seems to belong on the short list. In Chicago the "classy joints" have dress codes. But the dive bars let you wear almost anything. Any advice appreciated. Happy to reciprocate if anyone travels to the windy city.

As others have suggested, the Phoenix area is fairly casual. We even had a mayor who advocated for tie-less summers.

I usually wear neat looking cargo shorts and polo shirt. Both are great if a person's hands happen to slip up my thighs and into my boxers, or under the shirt. (Not that this has happened anyplace in Phoenix I've talked about here. Heh heh) I used to frequently wear sandals but now walking shoes. The ensemble is neat and casual but without the suggestion I wandered in from behind a dumpster. (There was a guy who looked like that during the day at Fox's who would take advantage of free admission and danced to the hip hop music). I'm not exactly a "fashion forward" person but sweat pants are not my thing. I can understand the comfort angle but it's too "dressed down" for me.

You know cargo shorts just scream Big Money to the dancers (hah hah).

I was denied admission to the Pink Rhino (RIP) for wearing the sandals but not for my cargo shorts with polo shirt.

I've seen dress codes, (or rather lists of prohibited attire) at the entrances for Bandaids and Essex, nothing we've talked about is on those lists.

You haven't described what you're looking for in club qualities but here's a quick synopsis:

Chicas is almost exclusively latina dancers, and spanish language hip hop and banda. IMO many dancers have augmented boobs and butts.

Essex is latina, black and some white dancers. Mostly English language and spanish language hip hop related songs. Dancers mostly all natural everywhere.

Hi Liter is mostly white dancers with about 2 or 3 asians in the daytime. Maybe one or two black dancers after 9 PM. Music mix varies. Some dancers augmented.

Bandaids is different from all the rest as it's like a neighborhood bar with benefits. Hang out with buddies or dancers in the bar area or settle into the lounge to watch dancers on stage or get your lapdances. My favorite place. Mix of white, black, latina and maybe one asian dancer. There has been a influx of cuban dancers in recent years. Dancers are mostly natural with an occasional boob job.

Bourbon Street is the classic strip club. BigTim's favorite. Most of the dancers are white, many blondes. Perhaps three asians at night. Rarely any black dancers. At one time it seemed 90% of the dancers had boob jobs but recent visits with BigTim revealed more variety. Music is typical rock stuff.

Christie's is the "classy place". Nuff said but I was never denied entry even with my sandals

IMO give the Candy Store a pass but I will probably stop by with BigTim in coming weeks to get first hand confirmation of recent reports.

BTW Chicas and Essex are not far apart in distance. As a bonus you can make a stop at Dirty's between the two. Watch out for the tricky intersection of 35th Ave, Indian School Road, and Grand Avenue.

Royalty: I remember there were people here who particularly liked Royalty. After an absence of 2 - 3 years she's back at Bandaids. Check in the evenings.

Centerfolds: signs in front of the club and also at sister clubs say the club is now open Wed thru Saturday.

Scores now Babes: Scores has a new temporary sign in front saying the place is now called Babes. (Hey, BigTim, does a name change raise your club tally on a subsequent visit?

Former Chicas / Mustang Sally's dancers: you may remember that Chicas (formerly Mustang Sally's) fired all their black dancers in an all out push to establish itself as a latino club. The diaspora has sent those dancers to Exotica (now Minks, now probably closed), Bandaids, and, a semi-retired Mustang Sally's dancer says, you can find some at T & A on Central.

Has anyone been to Blue Moon in the evening lately to see if the format is still the same it was (no longer nude on stage or private dances, only nude in private room which starts at $200, etc)? It is hard for me to make it there during the day.

Thank you all for your help and advice. I actually prefer the dive bars in Chicago. The girls are more friendly, the beer is cheaper, and you can normally negotiate take-out. At one place, Playpen, you could tip the bartender $10 and take a girl to the supply room. That room is closed now, but you get the idea. The strip club scene in Chicago is actually pretty bad and I switched to massage parlors a few years back. My "Chinese Wife" and I actually own an AMP. But its legit. Great massage but no extras. I guess all are dive clubs here. :-)

Christies in Tempe may be an exception. Suit and tie may result in having your tie cut off at all others. Remember, we are 10 feet from hell and 10 miles from water.

Chicas bandaids and hi-liter I know don't have strict dress codes. I usually wear sweats and a tshirt.

I went there 15 years ago and the place sucked ass. The tables were sticky. The beer was warm. The girls were old as the hills. Thanks for the new report.

Reminds me of a line in a Marx Brother's movie: "Some party. The beer is warm, the women are cold, and I'm getting hot under the collar. ".

Color me skeptical but this place is typically at the bottom of my strip club list. It seemed like the place to go to see tatooed biker babes and the management carefully watched each dance. If you touched the dancer ANYWHERE, you were immediately scolded to keep you hands at your sides. The best part of this club seemed to be the bar area which served as a very nice sports bar. Overall the Candy Store seemed like a nice place to hang out if you lived in the area.

Granted, I haven't been here in years, purposely because other clubs beckoned with better prospects.

Maybe BigTim will want to visit to add to his club count.

Little Higgs woke me up this morning, saying, "Wow that was fun last night. When can we go to Essex again?. " Me (groggy and sleepy): "Next pay check. ".

Before I continue, here's some minor updates:

Drove by Minks one night a couple weeks ago. Literally. It was totally dark and I passed it before I realized it. Did a you turn and pulled into the parking lot. Not a good sign. No lights, no cars. Not necessarily a bad thing for us since I think the management was clueless. I won't get into my rant. Maybe another time. Dancers also tell me that the house fees nickel-and-dime them. OTOH, dancers could just show up and dance. Met a handful of hot dancers there over the years but you never knew who would be there and what it would be like until you entered the door.

Since I was in the neighborhood, I decided to swing by Nubians, the nude place near 36th Ave on McDowell. It too was dark, no cars and the sign was gone. Not too surprised. Noted by another forum member, the demographics have changed in the area. The management also needed to get a clue. For example, I stopped by a couple months ago to find the front door locked. According to my sources, the manager on duty felt ill and decided to close it down. At least that's what he told ownership. You can't allow an establishment to shut down and expect customers to come by on later nights. They just stop showing up. Too bad, cause I did see a couple of hot dancers there. My Fave 1 tried it for awhile but, not surprisingly, gave up. The customers typically would show up sit around the small stage, gawk, perhaps tip a dollar or two and leave. Dancers made almost no money and stopped showing up. Some day I'll stop by Eve's Tease to figure out how they make it work there. Haven't been inside for many years. Dave used to visit the club occasionally.

Fox's: every now and the there's some minor activity around the site. A couple weeks ago, a construction dumpster was there and removed. Last week a work truck was parked by a side entrance. I don't think anything will happen. Too much competition in the area (ABC, Dirty's, Essex and Chicas).

As I noted a month or two ago, I was on the final stages of a SB / SD arrangement and I think that finally ended this week. Starting the beginning of August, I occasionally visited clubs, typically Bandaids or Essex.

The usual pattern at Essex is that things are slow until after 9 PM and builds until about Midnight with the party going to 2 AM. The place opens about 1 PM or 2 PM and there are some girls there but not many. I usually visit on Wednesday evening, arriving between 9 and 9:30. Drink specials start about that time. Frankly, I try to be nice when discussing dancers but, on my first night returning to Essex, I took a seat at a table after getting my first beverage at the bar. I was soon joined by a skinny dancer who may have been latina, and she tried to get a feel about how receptive I would be. In her case, not very. It may have been the UV lights reacting with her cosmetics but she looked hideous.

Last night, I was seated at the very same table but had glanced at one of the black dancers before my eyes had fully adjusted. She took it as a positive sign and sat next to me. I soon realized she was not the kind of dancer I was looking for but I try to be Mr. Nice Guy. She brought up the subject of dances and I asked her what about the area behind Stage 2 (you have go up a step or two and the area has nice comfy chairs). She said she charged $20/ dance up there. (she might but that's not what the club says) She said, the VIP cost $25 (correct), and at the tables, $10. (no) She must have thought I was a newb or really desperate. I dropped the subject. Gave her a tip. Later, I found an excuse to visit the Men's room and brought my drink with me.

Officially, the club says dances by the Stage 2 area cost $10 each. Some dancers will say $15 and I occasionally let them get away with it but they just don't get as much money from me since I limit the dances to four at that price. Always check with the dancer before starting in that area.

To contrast, a couple weeks ago I met this really charming and hot dancer who was returning after a period away from Essex. She knew me from another club and after a few minutes of tease and flirting at the bar, we decided to move to that area behind Stage 2. On the way to that area, she asked an assistant manager about the pricing. He informed her, $10/ dance. That inquiry and her behavior during the dances, assured me that I was being treated fairly, even generously. In return, she got paid for many dances and I even gave extra. We met again last night and I was not disappointed.

At Essex, the magic hour is 11 PM. That's when the really hot dancers show up to catch the growing crowd. My jaw dropped a couple times after 11 PM last night but I kept my composure until that hot dancer got sight of me. She said she missed me the previous week. Nice stroke for my ego as she progressed into the tease and flirting. Little Higgs loved it and it wasn't long before we moved to that area behind Stage 2 and continued where we left off.

About a month ago, I dropped by Bandaids. I almost always find a dancer there I like. Often I know them from previous visits. That evening I went home with three new phone numbers and I hadn't even brought up the subject with the dancers. Of course, they want me to be at the club when they're there, and vice versa. My opinion: be a nice guy, give the dancers a known positive quality and things can happen. This isn't going to happen on a single club visit. That can work in some cities, and in Phoenix sometimes but not consistently.

I know some people get irritated that I don't get very specific with names and activities. It has been noted here before but local authorities do read these sort of sites. This was brought home to a forum member during a traffic stop a few years ago. At that time he had a user name here that was very close to his vanity license plate. The officer asked if he was XXXXXX on this forum. I also have sources reporting that Valley LE follow social media in an official capacity. Finally, some forum members believe it's more than a coincidence that "raids" I. E. LE and alcohol authority visits and fines, at the Hi Liter happened after a period of very descriptive club reviews of VIP activities. Those are reasons I keep the details and dancer descriptions vague, or at least difficult to pin down. I also don't want some jerk walking up to a dancer and asking, "Didn't you do (specific act) with a guy named Higgs?

It's time for me to find some new faves. Fave 1 is looking for another vocation and has become scarce. She has made Phoenix her home even bringing other family to the area. Fave A is more mobile and decided to leave Phoenix to take up dancing in another state in the US South. Fave X has also moved to the US South and divides her time between two states. Done OTC with all three. Had a voice call from Ms M after many months. I couldn't talk at that time and I asked if we could txt later. With her OK, I sent her a txt later which was unanswered. However, late that night I got txts from an unknown number demanding to know who I was. My theory, someone's part or full time BF was looking at Ms M's phone and saw my txt. Anyway, with the SB out of the picture now, it's time to find someone else for extracurricular activities.
