Mesa changed its ordinance to allow such inspections. You're right, just a tape of someone walking in and out doesn't get LE very far. But LE does set up cameras from time to time to count / identify customers, and sometimes makes contact with customers afterwards. I've heard that a surprising number of people make admissions, which can then be used against the shop when it's busted. Even if they don't follow through and charge the customer, I suspect it can be an embarrassing experience.

It is true that a tape so someone walking in and out can't get a person arrested but they can call you and question you. Pesonally, I really do not want my name on a list of suspected "Johns" that the police have so they are always looking for you. People do however make different judgments.

With these arrests, were there mics / cameras in the rooms or something? If not, I don't see how there is evidence of anything other than entering the building.

A few years ago, there used to be a place called Rose Garden Health Club on 7th St and Virginia. The police have closed it now. The police arrested some of the girls that were there when they raided it and then later they went through the records and found some men that had frequented the place which they had noted were ok men They made a few arrests. This is where the people I know got arrested.

There is not one item that LE can do anything to you if all they have is photos / videos of you entering / exiting a massage parlor. On what grounds. Now the article that lists 40+arrest. That was a sting operation where LE set up shop, had the place bugged / video and post ads. That's a whole different story. When I read the post about nailing gents based off of photo / svideos entering / exiting. No grounds or legit proof.

It is my understanding LE is trying to change the language in the law where they can enter a massage parlor unannounced and walk in rooms. Depending what they would walk into could be an issue. Just my 2 cents.

That's why you only go to established establishments that you've visited before or have been vetted by trusted people.

Personally, I think massage parlors are too dangerous at least in Phoenix. Lately the police are setting up cameras in adjacent parking lots and recording everyone that goes in. When they later bust the joint they can come after you. I know a person who got a call from the police asking about a visit he made to a massage parlor 3 months earlier! Strip clubs are a lot safer in that the police seem to not be busting the Johns that go into the place. Yes, they have raids of strip clubs and club owners get cited and fined and sometimes their liquor license is suspended or removed and sometimes the girls get cited but in my many years of doing this hobby I have never seen a customer of a strip club cited or arrested for sexual crimes. In my opinion, strip clubs are a lot safer than massage parlors. Every once and a while a massage parlor is shut down by the police and they go through the tapes of the front door security and try to find every person that they can that went in there in a give time period. They monitor parking lots too and even adjacent parking lots so that the can get license numbers. I know a couple of people that were arrested. This is my opinion though and I would never tell anyone to avoid massage parlors.

Is Missy a smaller (short-5 ft.) dark-haired girl who looks like she could be hispanic? I ran into a Missy at Hi-Liter a couple of years ago during spring training, which was a couple of years after I first met her and got some spectacular dances from her at Cheetah's (I think 2017) on 7th downtown. She was really petite, tiny and hot the first time I met her and she still looked good, though about 10 or so pounds heavier when I saw her again at Hi-Liter (which I think was the spring of 2019).

I'm not sure I doubt this is the same Missy as I don't recall she ever worked at Cheetah's. I've only seen her here and she's been working at Hi-Liter for a long time now (since 2015 at least) I believe there's 2 Missy's working here at one point which is really confusing when they have to go on stage. This Missy now does "massages" but sadly her skills aren't that good.

Went to Hi-Liter Saturday night, I must had came in during customers "shift change" as it was fairly dead. The usual I'd scan and weapons check. Bouncer made sure if it's OK to scan my I'd. (Before they just do it).

A lot of open tables but I wanted somewhere by the wall / mirror area. It was full but bouncer kicked a dancer off the chair, tipped the bouncer for doing that. Quite a few waitresses but it took a few minutes before someone actually came by. Ordered my usual Vodka / Cranberry and looks like the drink prices went up as this is now $14. I ordered a redbull later and that was still $6 I believe.

Dancers on hand tonight are: Missy, Karma, Peach, Flore, Marisa, Summer, Leah, Christine, and Kacie.

A few that I got dances from were fairly tame. One notable dancer is Kacie, she gives one of the better floor dances and I would of take her to VIP if I didn't have to bounce. She's got some Chinese ink on her back.

Also wanted to mention the waitress Grace, she's one of the better waitresses there, that personal touch and small talk goes a long way.

As I was leaving, I noticed a lot more customers are flowing in. Apparently the customer shift change is due to Barrett-Jackson event.

Dick's Cabaret in Phoenix has male strippers. It is primarily oriented towards gay men but women do also attend. There are plenty of female clubs in the area so you could go to the female one and she could go to that one.
