I stopped by there a month back at 10:40 pm and was informed they are open from 11 pm to 5 am. I left.

Even if your balls are swolen and hurting it will be minor pain compared to your cash stash.

Earlier last year I tried the 15 minute VIP which was a complete letdown.

No touching of the goods and a constant upsell to the 1 hour for somewhere around a grand.

Shit, for that hire an escort for 2 hours AND get a room for the whole night and still have enough for breakfast the next morning.

I suggest they rename it Blue Balls.

Blue Moon used to be 3 for 46 for a shall we say hands on experience. It was incredible value.

The dancers were of course not anywhere close to Bourbon Street Circus "model" quality, but I didn't think they were ugly by any means either.

Nowadays, I hear it is almost like a clip joint. Awful value trying to sell an hour VIP experience for like a thousand dollars!

I don't think they are even open daytime anymore. But even if they are, I've heard it's completely a place to avoid regardless of hours.

I don't think there are any nude clubs in AZ worth a shit anymore unfortunately. I also am unsure if there even is a nude club open during day shift (I know le girls and ABC are open, but I think topless side only). If anyone has any info on nude clubs that are good (especially if open during the day like Blue Moon was), please post here or message me. I live in East Valley so anything in the West valley is too rare especially for dayshift. I just don't think there ever will be a (nude) replacement for good ole BM back in the day!

Has anyone ventured to Blue Moon recently? Any news, good or bad?

Anyway, at Sugar 44, it seems one can have an experience similar to the BM days of old.

A couple dancers even have lotion on hand.

Granted, it is topless versus nude, yet the dancers are higher on the looks scale.

Also, wasn't it 3 songs for. 46 back in the day?

Very interesting how things at clubs valley wide have changed over the last 15-20 years.

Anyone been to Candy Store recently? My time has been spent at Sugar and Hi-Liter.

No fun recently at Hi-Liter. Just interviewing outcall prospects and getting lots of GPS answers.

Luck recently changed and I may have found a couple spinners with reasonable rates.

Higgs, thanks for the info. During the last few months, I have been going to Hi Liter in the afternoons and BSC in the evenings. I stopped going to Platinum Plus because they raised their floor dance price to $20 each with no touching and upstairs VIP dances to $30 each. I also go to Bandaids less since Larissa left. If you want to know anything about Bandaids, ask TJ who wears the Superman Outfit.

Thanks for the feedback. I hope to post "Part Deux" of my 2022 overview in a couple days. Life interferes with these noble pursuits. Bandaids is perhaps my fave Valley club and I've seen more multiple interior remodels there. I'll mention it in part 3 or 4.

My SB has had to take care of professional education over the past few months so sometimes she's unable to meet. That's when I've hit the clubs.

These overview posts aren't meant to be comprehensive or detailed. They are impressionistic and reflects my preferences and desires. Your experiences, desires, and preferences will likely be different (YMMV, etc). Comments welcome.

In 2022 I visited Essex, Dirty's, Alaskan Bush, Crazy Girls, Centerfolds, Bandaids, and Bourbon Street. Brief stop at the Candy Store. Out of these 8, I was offered "take out" at 5 of them. I don't usually do VIP dances at any club but have made exceptions. More often in 2022. Sometimes I've regretted it for, let's say, lack of quality or my general disappointment. My opinions below, your experience may be different, you're allowed to disagree.

I should say I don't do the clubs in Scottsdale (Bones, Skin, Dream Palace). Nipple coverings and air dances aren't of interest to me on the first two. Also, good guidance from Dick North and Heel Lover especially regarding Dream Palace. More on that another time. Geographic boundary note: Christie's is actually in Guadalupe. I see there are Chicas fans here but it's a low priority for me after they "purged" almost all AA dancers. Sugar 44 won't be discussed (sorry, Heel Lover and BigTim). Sugar never did it for me but I really enjoyed our time there as a group..

I rarely do daytime visits. Almost all after 8 PM.

An interesting development over the last 10 years are the number of cuban dancers. They used to be a novelty but now they seem to be everywhere. They're often the ones trying to drag you into the VIP area.

Essex.

Various changes at Essex since reopening. No radical changes in layout but they've instituted various rules. For example that area directly across from the bar that is a step or two higher that the floor. I used to get fantastic semi-private dances for $10 there. It is now reserved for VIP / groups. I got chased out of there by a security guy just as I got settled in with a hottie. The change was explained plus I was told that all the tables with candles were "reserved". Whatever that means. Anyway, if a table doesn't have a candle, it's available unless already occupied. And all the places with couches / booths, etc. Are VIP of some sort.

On one visit to Essex about eight months ago I broke three of my own rules / guidelines with a single dancer. My opinions below, your experience may be different, you're allowed to disagree.

- No VIP. It's rarely better that a floor lap dance at the right club and dancer.

- No augmented body parts, particularly boobs or butts. I like the feel of the real thing.

- No out of town dancers. I know some people here have other experiences but based on my observations, they have little incentive for a good experience. They think they'll never see you again after that evening and take offense at wandering hands. Local dancers hope you'll return for another great experience.

That said, one evening I got approached by a thick but not fat latina by the bar about going to the VIP. Augmented boobs, and extra padding in the buttocks. Maybe plumped up lips too. Said she was from Las Vegas and visiting family in Phoenix. My brain said no, but she stuck out her tongue and I swear it reached below her chin. Little Higgs said, "Let's Go! I cut my losses after a couple dances.

Subsequent visits to Essex were terrific. There were always some gem who got my engine revving. Also, met a dancer who, after Essex closed, moved to Centerfolds for the truly late night / early morning crowds. I'm sure there are others who do the same.

The obvious question is "What did they look like? I'm usually in Phoenix for spring training every March and we usually stop in at Bandaids once or twice a week in late afternoon for a beer or 2. We consider it "slumming" but at this point it's a tradition to stop at least once.

In nearly 20 springs of hitting Bandaids (which feels more like a clubhouse than a strip club to me) I've seen exactly 3 dancers who were attractive enough to get a dance from. One was an outstanding little spinner in her early 20's, with a high quality VIP effort, about 3-4 years ago. The other 2 were a high 5 or a low 6. Everybody else I've ever seen there ranges from slightly overweight to very overweight.

So, back to the question. Chubby moms or young, hot spinners?

Fair question. Most are thicker Latina mom types. I don't mind thicker Latinas. Not a big fan of really thin small spinner types. But 1 of the 2 was hot (mid 20's, flat stomach, pretty face) - I thought she was the hottest in there and I'm sure you would get a dance from her. Wish I had caught her name. The other was thicker and more of a chubby mom (wasn't exactly sober by this point).

Got there around 3:30. No shortage of Cuban girls trying to sell you on the VIP dances. I went back to the VIP with 2 different girls, and both were more friendly than I remembered from that place. Got a few HJ's. The first one actually finished me off. She asked for an extra $100 on top of the VIP dances (total for one girl was $160 and $140 for the other girl). Around 5 or 6 the more friendly day shift went home and we were left with a less friendly night shift. Tried a few dances from the night shift and didn't get the same service I got from the day shift.

It was the most action I've gotten in a Phoenix strip club in a long time.

I was in the area, had an hour to kill, so I decided to make my first Hi Liter visit. It was a rare dreary cloudy day in the valley of the sun, so I could actually see as I entered. Some tables straight ahead and then the single stage against the back wall. Bar / grill along the right wall (as you enter) and more tables and chairs along the left. About half occupied by dancers. The washrooms are in the back on the left. Private dance booths along the front on the left as you come in. Music was a reasonable level, and even some classic rock for us old guys.

Greeted by a friendly doorman. No I'd check or cover charge on a Sunday afternoon at 3 p. He led me to one of the tables on the left. Within minutes a hot waitress took my order. Two small Kilt Lifter IPA draft beers for $7. She wore a see through mesh thong body suit, was cute, and had butt length brown hair. And was very nice, $2 tip per round.

Settled in and was approached immediately by a 50+ petite asian about a dance. I passed and said maybe later. Got my beers and was approached by Stella. A tall mid-40's brunette with double Ds and a cottage cheese butt. I have that kind of butt at home and see it everyday. I don't want to PAY to see it here. A parade of tatted up Cubans came by but none were me type. I do have to say all the girls were nice when I said "no thank you" and walked away without complaining / attitude.

My time was about half over when the waitress came by to refresh my drinks. She was my type so I asked if she did dances. Sadly she does not. I was beginning to think I was going to leave without a dance when Out of the corner of my eye I saw a cute, petite gal with A / B cups and waved here over. Her name was Andrea, and was Cuban. She said she came to the US as a baby, so her english was good. She was about 5'4" with mid-back brown hair. She had no or not very noticeable tattoos. I'd put her at mid-20's tops.

We started with a floor dance to see if private would be worthwhile. Her grind was top notch and she pulled her cute little boobs out. So after one dance we went to the private booths. She dropped her top and gave me access to her cute little eraser tip nipples. The excellent grind continued and her leg was used to make sure I was at full attention. Was fine with hands everywhere except under her thong. Went three dances and brought it to an end as I had to go. One floor and three private dances for $85. Gave her $100 total and hit the road. Will return when nearby.

I ventured by T & A today around 1:30 and there were at least 3 hottie AA's. One in particular was my type. Petite, slender & cute.
So I guess Friday is a much better time to visit if you are interested in AA girls.
The problem as I see it tho is that most of the patrons were sticking with the latina girls and ignoring the AA's (except for me!).

I have gotten the impression in the past that Chicas is not too friendly to non-hispanic dancers, but hopefully I am wrong.
