Just a wild guess, but probably sometime around late March 2020 is when things changed. I think the lovelies that walked around Union Square were primarily catering to business travelers and business travel to SF fell off a cliff when the pandemic began. Tourist travel to SF has rebounded nicely but I don't think business travel has gotten close. Maybe there were more girls around during Dreamforce last week? No idea, I was out of town.

But if / when business travel to SF really rebounds, that's when I bet you'll see more girls walking around Union Square.

I visited SF recently and checked out Capp St S of 15th to about 25th. Total hottie gallery from about 0000 to 0400 each day I checked it out. A few local non-pros but mostly hotties under professional management.

Last few times from the street for me were from inty and I took them home. Redbook closed I met a few out there. There were two I saw a few times over a few months. Both showed up on NS later. This was in 2014.

More recent tries, my eyes aren't good enough anymore, and they all want to talk your ear off through the window before getting in. Big no no. Now I don't even live close enough to want to go to any of them.
