In some odd way, it's reassuring to hear others also admit they're an addict to the hobby. I'm not crazy. Nor alone. Others get it.

I've warned friends. I've told them to stay away. "Flesh meth" is the strongest addiction. The oldest drug in the world. The most powerful. Short of castration, there's no breaking this addiction. There's no escape.

All you can do is limit the damage it causes. And try not to be stupid.

I think we can all agree on the dangers and pitfalls of the game. I hope one day there will be a discussion pertaining to how / why guys who are not single.

Agree with Matt. Stop now. I tried to quite (hence the 2 moniker and few posts). But here I am. It's incredibly hard to stop and gets addicting. Not worth it. I don't think anyone on here would say it was worth it.

No joking here, many have lost everything they ever had to this "hobby". Families, friends, and fortunes. They didn't realize it when they first got into it but then couldn't stop. It's extremely common, probably more common than those who are "casual" mongers. That is one reason why I laugh at mongers who treat providers like crap because they have chemical addictions. So many mongers are in the same situation, they just don't ingest chemicals but otherwise they are just the other side of the addiction coin. They just can't or won't admit it to themselves. It's the same all over the world. Rooms filled with guys trying to stop. And let's all admit it, it's a seedy business with direct participation in the dregs of society and it's a near certainty that anyone providing is doing so out of some personal misery and desperation (literal slavery in many cases). So YungBuck06, imagine someone handing you a syringe, it's close to the same thing, and just walk away.
