And that's what I first thought when asked for half upfront PayPal for address. And I basically said no sounds like a scam and then she says well go buy a card send a pic I have it and then show up and I said I got cash what is it so important for a gift card and her response was the hell with cash lmk when you get the card if you want to see me, so she was ok with me showing up with a gift card, but I just don't get the point honestly.

Once you have the card they will ask for a picture of it with the numbers exposed so she can verify it is real. Then ghost you and use it online. Classic scam. She has no intention of ever actually seeing you.

Pre-pay or cards always a huge red flag.
