My rant why don't all of the providers provide some details on there location? If I am on the South side, then I am wasting my time contacting a "Chicago" escort in Glenview. They really should give us mongers some idea of where they are. Nothing is more frustrating than calling a provider and then discovering they are over a hour drive away. Please, provide some better location info in your ads!

How about the ones posting a list of 40 Chicagoland cities in an add for Aurora for example. I click on the girl only to realize that she blanketed the entire areas worth of cities. I literally take note of each girl that does it and mentally mark her as a no go. It is so ridiculous that they cannot just post in the area of operation. Like, Lombard posting but staying in Oakbrook is okay but Aurora posting staying in Tinley Park is just dumb.

I could not agree more with the above quote. Or if you're using a cheaper service like listcrawlers the girls will put a multiple locations in their ad. I try to refine my search my general area and usually I only have an hour to kill which includes my drive time to and from. If a girl says Schaumburg but she really means Schiller Park that exceeds my allotment of free time. If it's rush hour I could use 45 minutes just driving from Schaumburg to Schiller Park. Then we I have to play the "ready in 5 more minutes" game as I sat in a parking lot of some dump of a hotel. Even the higher end girls on tryst will sometimes just put Chicago. As you stated that could be over an hour drive from one end to the other.

Are you new to the big city, do you give your cc info to the people who call you wanting to sell you extended warranties? There is plenty of info on this forum on how to spot and avoid scammers.

I'm shocked by how many guys who have double-digit posts are still scammed by the request for a deposit. It's one thing is you see a reviewed porn star on TER with a link posted to TER that matches the link you are using, a phone number that matches the phone number, and an email address that matches the email address on TER. But for any other situation, why would you have missed the discussions across every single thread on this forum that warns against paying deposits? Even if the woman is 100% your ideal type, you can easily move on to another provider is 95% your type. And in most cases, she just fits the right time, right place, provider you have not been with before. So, the easy answer is: you were scammed, learn the lesson, never pay a deposit again.

In other words they will wise up one we starve the money flow. Learned my lesson early on. My original post was to see if anyone had any success in actually meeting someone this way.

Uh, you do realize that guy / girl may not even be in the States, don't you? Haven't you watch the news where they (FTC) bust some telemarketer AFTER they have made millions of bogus phone calls scamming thousands of people out of hundreds of thousands of dollars after months of investigations. You think we have those resources? You think the FTC is going to take a complaint of a few guys that guy ripped off of 50 each because they were trying to buy sex from someone probably half their age?

The way you get to those people is to NOT EVER send them money and spread the word so others never send them money. They exist becasue people fall for it and they get paid. Don't pay until you are standing in the room with the girl and even then some will try to run away and really there is nothing we can do about it then except to warn others. Unless, of course, you want to make a scene and have possibly the cops get involved. That would not turn out well.

My take on this is you got scammed. Since you already was dumb enough to send a first deposit the scammer thought "what the hell" and tried to see if you were dumb enough to send a second deposit. If it doesn't work no big deal but there are probably guys out there who have sent a second deposit. All that bullshit about security deposit and management wants this is just lies. But obviously you bought it and you continue to want to believe it because you're on this site asking about it hoping beyond hope that someone wil reply back that you did nothing wrong it's all a misunderstanding that the girl really exists. Nope, you got played and you don't want to admit it to yourself.

Am wondering if any of you have ever met anyone on the YesBackpage site? Have reached out to a few over time and am yet to find one I feel I can trust. Too bad the original Backpage got careless and therefore busted, as it was much better IMO. You got to talk to the ladies by phone so you know they were real.
