Anyone know if the islands is back open? Reports of the lights on but no answer. Any details would be appreciated.

Jenny the owner at LW was wearing mask at the Front desk. Glimpse of one of the ladies leaving a room as I walked out she was wearing mask. But I imagine in the room mask may come off. Customer not required to wear.

I'm surprised you of all people wouldn't know all the details about what's going on at LW. You always seem to have inside knowledge to share with us.

I've been out of the State for 6 weeks. Won't be back until next week. I've stayed in touch with one of the LW ladies but haven't thought about the mask thing until today. My favorite is still there and I look forward to seeing her for sure.

Went there, the lady was wearing a mask and gloves! What the f $& She took the gloves off eventually and she was wearing the stupid girdle thing. But no underwear!!

Can anyone report on whether the Providers are wearing mask? Do customers have to wear them?

Went to the Lansing Wellness on cedar today, when I walked in the first thing they did was put a mask on me, spray me from the neck down with a can of lysol and then took my temp on my wrist with a thermometer. Every lady in there was wearing a mask and my masseuse kept hers on for the entirety of the massage. Obviously this is only one place and I can't say anything about the other spots around town but that should give you an idea.

Was going to go to Lansing wellness tonight. When I arrived I saw a few people go inside and then come right back out. So I called lucky's down in Jackson and s scheduled an hour shower and massage with the legend. This place is amazing, gave my tribute and while she was getting ready in the back, her friend (Paula I think) came in and said she was my warm up. I don't think I've ever been this satisfied and I didn't even get the massage.

Nice Jaxson! I can confirm getting the run around at LW. Scheduled an appt for 5:15. I called at 445 to confirm was told sorry we busy. I said but I had an appt. So sorry they said. So I made a few other calls nothing else available so I call back to LW to reschedule and she says to come now. So I do. Drive there, walk in, and told so sorry maybe come back at 8:00? There were at least 2 waiting in cars in parking lot.

We should be prepared for double and triple booking as they are trying to makeup for lost $ and going to cram as many in and I'm sure going to short you on time and rush you out for the next in line. And let's hope they are at least disinfecting the face hole. My word. Might need to wait a little til this all simmers down.

Had some errands to run around town this afternoon and drove by Magic & Akoya and neither were open & still had their months old signs on the door saying they're closed. Anyone know of anything reopening yet?

Have appointment for this evening. Will report about the experience.

Drove by and noticed no Open sign was on. Decided things were too "bright" to go up and read the sign on the door. May stop by later to read the details, or I'll snap a pic and post it here.

A buddy of mine heard from Angie at MT just a few days ago. She was still out of town and hadn't heard yet when the shop would re-open. Total bummer.

Did you catch her name? And was the massage decent at least? Thanks.

I didn't catch her name, sorry. She was probably mid to late 40's with short hair. Massage was eh? Not great not terrible. If you go I'd opt for a hard massage when she asks, I told her medium and it felt like she was hardly even massaging me at some points.
