Accordion doors and curtains had me thinking this would not end well.

No sir you did the right move. I highly doubt anything else would've happened if you started the DIY. The 2nd time I ever went to a parlor several years back. Same thing happened to me. I've been to Traditional Massage near there on Pontiac Trail near Beck once before and my experience was a much more positive one that I plan on repeating.
