I've been out of the area for months but was back in town. That Friday night I dropped off a friend by WSU and cut up Woodward to Ferndale. I drove for both Lyft and Uber in the past so I've taken many drives through there for rides. Noticed the new bright LED streetlights from 6 Mile to 8 Mile. Also saw what looked like police cameras on some corner posts. At least that's what they are in Baltimore. Anyway, the normal tranny walkers were nowhere to be seen. The lights must hurt their business since it's easy to see them now. Darkness was probably their best friend. I don't know how many I saw over the years lurking in the shadows. Guess they've moved onto darker pastures and corners. I suppose you had better look more closely in other areas if you give someone a ride. Buyer beware!

These areas are very different at night time and without vehicle security you could find yourself in a lot of trouble. I have heard and seen many bad things in this area been a resident of Detroit 25+ years. Just looking out.
