A sad state of affairs in Redford. Sad that a profession so noble has become so bastardized. The Detroit Metro area is easily one of the worst in the country, yet instead of going after gangs and drug houses, they choose to go after those in this hobby, topless bars and other victimless things. They are now almost exclusively revenue agents. What are the chances that they "fudge" a few tickets as well? Do they lose the overtime if people contest tickets and get them dismissed (often due to the cop not showing up)?

Redford Township has launched an all out revenue drive. This revenue will be coming out of your pockets. They have actually agreed to pay police officers 2 hours of overtime if they write 2 tickets per hour during their shift. This will surely result in some outstanding law enforcement!
