Do a search here on her. You'll find out the info you need. Plus your inquiry should actually be on the backpage thread.

    Newbie Advice

Absolutely pick up a burner phone. Go to Walmart and pay cash. Always pay cash for the minutes cards, too. Do NOT get a smartphone. Get the least-expensive, lowest-tech device you can. Less electronic trail / data hanging around, and less fear over tossing it when warranted.

I've been lurking for a little while now trying to learn the dos and don'ts and feel I've picked up a few, but I also see occasional references to "usual safe practices" or some such oblique phrase in reference to avoiding Uncle LEO or scams, and am not certain what those are. Is there a spot I've not found that outlines those safe practices for those of us who don't know what they are? Some way for us to learn them without coming in here asking a million questions that likely seem obvious to vets? Something like the abbreviation page, but with a list of warning signs.

I will toss in just a couple of more specific question while I'm at it, though. When I search here for someone who's caught my eye, very often the links lead to no longer existing backpage ads, and the similar and repeating names make it difficult to know if I'm seeing a review for the same person for whom I'm searching. Am I missing an obvious solution to that problem?

Also, am I correct in thinking that anytime I see an out of state phone number, search it, and ads come up in many multiple places (e. G. , one I'm looking at now has a Memphis number, and has had ads in Memphis, Huntsville, Birmingham, and Cincinnati) that I should run the other way?

Thanks for any help here. I'm possibly being overly cautious, but am more than a bit nervous about the possibility of going in blind and ignorant to a situation with potential serious consequences.
I lurked for at least a year and a half before I ever had the confidence to venture out.

A couple of rules that have served me well -.

    - Search out reviews of somebody I'm interested in. If there aren't any reviews, wait until I see a 2nd or 3rd ad before I start asking around on the forums. A lot of ads are scams / clickbait that just show up once.

    - Along with the above, I've never seen someone I haven't read at least 1 positive, or at the very least non-negative, review. Not that I'm not willing to TOFTT on bad service, I'm just too paranoid about scams / LEO.

    - Google image search is your friend.

    - Pasting phone numbers into popular social media sites is also your friend. Sometimes it's a big, ugly friend.

    - Get a burner phone or some type of app to mask your identity that you can toss or cut off. Nothing worse than someone you're tired of seeing blowing up your phone when you've got better things to do.

There's plenty more for getting started, but those were at the top of my list.

    Some basic advice.

A lot of the abbreviations are on the front page of the site about half way down on the left. LEO is short for Law Enforcement Officer.

The most common scams are taking your money up front and then skipping out. Having someone in the room waiting to rob you and someone coming in after you pay and telling you that you have to leave without your money. Best way is don't pay until your finished. There are plenty more scams but you will find those out by reading in the ripoff section.

The backpage ads disappear often. A lot of people here are posting links to other advertiser sites also. It just the nature of the beast. But one thing I have learned is if their post disappears quickly many times they are fakes.

Out of state phone numbers don't necessarily mean you have to run. Many times it just means their travelers. One of the easiest ways to get information is to go the cities they have advertised in and do a search on this site on their name. There are other ways to validate also. You'll learn those with time! Just keep looking and go visit a few. When you do report back here!

    Where are they now?

Ok. I possibly could have missed this, but where are all of the Huntsville Advertisers posting now? For that matter. This forum used to cover the whole state of Alabama and was a very good resource. Now. If you go to usasexclassifieds. There are only 2 ads and both of those are spam. Where did they go? Obviously the admin here need to consider the fact that a whole state has lost all of its advertisers. They are posting somewhere, which means the new site is losing hits. Not trying to cross a line here or anything. It's just I'm a one stop shop kind of guy. LOL.

    Yep! A bunch of times

The one in the blue shirt, Angie, has been a go to of mine for a while. She is reliable, enthusiastic and lots of fun with a really nice body. Very reasonable rate wise too.

Classifieds are at a different website now, look at the top of the page for the "Final Notice to Advertisers".

But you can PM me with pics and availability.
