Backpage, Craigslist, now ECCIE and TER. We need our own underground plan pronto. Ideas please.

Some new site will pop up, they always do. Probably a site not hosted in the US. Until then dating sites, at least here, are flooded with providers. Just more annoying to navigate. Same with FB.

I thought this site was supposed to be our underground plan. This site has changed ALOT since I joined 5 years ago. Back then I could get info on dozens of women in the business and meet guys in person to exchange info with on some of their favorites. The ladies also used to share their info and engage. The last few years it has become a sausage fest and model mayhem site to share photos. Hopefully with all the changes we can go back to the way it used to be.

The takedown of these sites would have happened even faster had Hillary won. Democrats are significant sponsors of FOSTA / SESTA, we'd have hate speech laws like England and "even more" firearm confiscation.

P411, at least, is in Canada. So it may survive all this.

Eccie's down now. I would assume of it's own volition as the server is up, but the forum infrastructure is just gone. The main page resolved to a blank page and if you try to link directly to any forum, the php backbone is missing.

They are ALL OVER the 'mainstream' dating sites right now. You can't help but seeing them even if you aren't looking for them. Are they going to shut down eharmony, pof, match etc etc etc. There are working girls on facebook are they going to shut that down too? Interesting to say the least. I will bet you a thousand dollars more girls have been trafficked and abused through facebook than just about anything else out there just because of how big it is. Then there is instagram. And snapchat. And on and on and on and on. May as well shut down the whole internet or make it all Disney and Mickey Mouse.

I don't think the feds will shut down any of the major sites. Backpage they can get away with for now because the media has been demonizing them for years, and public opinion is against them. But if they attack POF and Match, they will end up facing a huge public rebellion. Most people don't use Backpage but A LOT of people use the large dating sites. Watch for the feds to start a misinformation campaign first in order to demonize the large dating sites. They will be portrayed at festering cesspools of prostitution and vice. It will take years but eventually the feds will get them too.

I don't think people fully understand the implications of this law. If they did, they would be storming Congress with torches and pitchforks RIGHT NOW. What this law has essentially done is given the feds the power to attack any web site and any time for any reason.

We see enough shit about politics on the news and every other social website known to man. This site is to help us in a hobby we all apparently like. Let's try and stick to topic at least here and maybe find a way to keep comms going if this is taken down next.

Take your political rants and raves somewhere else. Let's enjoy this site for what it is.
