Brand Viagra vs. Generic Sildenafil Prices (May 29,2018)

Just for shits and giggles, I contacted two pharmacies to get their cash prices for 30,100 mg brand Viagra and generic Sildenafil tablets.

    CVS

    Brand Viagra: $1,949 ($64.97/ tablet).

    Generic Sildenafil: $1,311 ($43.70/ tablet).

    Walmart

    Brand Viagra: $2,269 ($75.63/ tablet).

    Generic Sildenafil: $866 ($28.87/ tablet).

Are all generic Viagra brands the same? Is it possible that one pill might not work on me or is it more likely that I got ripped off? I bought some generic stuff and it didn't do anything for me at all while a different generic brand did work. The brand that didn't work was called Aurogra 100 from Aurochem Pharmaceuticals. The one that did work was Cenforce 100 from Centurion Laboratories. Both were made in India and both claim to have 100 mg of Sildenafil Citrate.

I found it on a site which referenced turmeric being increased with black pepper extract.

It didn't list viagra specifically, but did mention a list of PDE5 inhibitors and how that the pathway of bioavailability is enhanced with use of piperine.

    Within the PDE5 wiki.

"PDE5 inhibitors are primarily metabolized by the cytochrome P450 enzyme CYP3 A4. ".

And a study to support piperine / black pepper preventing degradation of this enzyme.

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12130727

In theory it should work if there's more of that enzyme to take in the PDE5 drug.

Just depends on other factors I guess that are further down the pathway. Those might not even be an issue if more degradation / blocking mechanisms exist.

Black pepper should work the same way I think.

Black pepper is said to contain around 5% piperine. 1 peppercorn weighs around 58 mg. So that means a peppercorn contains around 2. 9 mg of piperine.

That's in theory. I haven't found a study to corroborate the above, but the stuff is pretty darn cheap to not at least do a test run.

I don't have use for viagra, just an SSRI to prevent PE, which is why I was browsing this forum hoping for any insight. Was looking at dapox and somehow came across this thread.

Was just throwing that out there since these drugs can get expensive and having a cheap solution to increase the bioavailability of those drugs would be an asset if one could take less w / the same or increase outcome and end up saving $$.

Plus, black peppercorns can be got at the store if they work the same way as the black pepper extract.

The visit itself cost $25 and was pretty quick. Then used goodrx coupon. Ten 20 mg pills for less than $10. And I get 10 refills without another doc visit.

No shady Indian sites, no BitCoin nonsense, no throwaway credit cards or checking accounts, etc.
Is not available in SC. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

    Good rx 20 mg.

Using Good RX the 20 mg sildenafil citrate was $18.00 bucks for 30 pills at the local drug store. Works well no problem and that's a good price.
