I have had pretty good luck on AFF over the years but no so far on OBC but I keep trying.

In my previous post about web sites, I mentioned AOL, when I really meant AAF! AOL women are so 90's! LOL, and yes, I did meet a couple of them there in the early 90's, and one of which I still actually write to on a somewhat regular basis. But then she's in New Orleans and I'm in Vermont!

Anyway, getting back to the web site stuff, I just lost the one OBC woman I'd been seeing. She is now with someone she can call a permanent boyfriend, whereas I am just an old married fart!

But then, I have been contacted by a woman on this site who doesn't live too far from here and seems sane, kinky, and FUN. I'll let you all know what happens with that situation.

I have had some success posting on CL in casual encounters, but it seems to be getting harder and harder. I travel a lot for work, so I generally post in whatever city I am in...have hooked up in a few places, and now have a regular in the LA area, Vegas, and around home (Philly area). (But I don't get to Vegas nor CA often!) Met the local one on AFF (I think...can't remember since it's been a while).

One trick that helps separate the bots is that I post two different ads around the same time on CL...when I get the same response twice, I know it's not real.

I would like to figure out a more reliable method, but am still searching. Have done the street route but most of the time I chicken out. The pros on CL generally want too much $ for not enough time or action...I always feel rushed and then feel I wasted my money. But maybe I'm cheap.

Try Tagged. I've had success on this website. It's free, all you have to do is sign up. Last week, met two different women in two different cities: Grand Rapids, MI and Elkhart, IN. Had uncovered FS with both. I was looking for older ladies, 45+. First was 48 and next was 49. Both a little overweight, but the women on this site post a little about their background. I wrote a letter to the editor to my local paper a couple of times in the past. When they print the article, they include your email. Lo and behold, I had a response from a married woman who thought my letter was insightful so we met up and chatted after work. Well now I have tapped that three times now and am going back tonight for more. Worked for me any way. Keep those cards and letters coming.

Anyway, on to my original topic I've been on several ''dating'' sites, with varying results. I've used AOL, OBC, and C/L, and here are some of my results.

AOL women seem to be the most intelligent and most honest about what they're looking for, but the most difficult to hear back from. I found that I would have to write to 10 to get one response, and we all know that takes time. That said, I've had affairs with three that lasted a while. Currently, I'm seeing one that I've seen for over two years. But with an affair comes some drama, and I guess you have to ''pay'' some way. Oh, and I even found several couples that liked threesomes, one of which I played with once a month for almost a year.

I was on OBC for a while, met a few, and some panned out and others didn't. One I'm still seeing when I get into her area, and have been for about 1-1/2 years. Some are pros, but most are looking for fwb, and many have issues. Overall, I've found that OBC women are REALLY full of drama or complete flakes, and I've cancelled my subscription.

Then there's C/L. Yes, most are bots or flakes, but every once in a while...Like the one I'm seeing now. She advertised as needing some spare cash because she doesn't have a job. She let me set the rate, and yes, I may be overpaying, but there are a couple of advantages to that: She meets when it works for ME, does anything I want to do, and always arrives smelling and tasting good. And I'm her first and so far, only ''john''. I know this because I've been with plenty of p4p women, and she was so nervous the first time that I thought she was going to not go through with it. But with a little DATY, kissing, a backrub, I went where no paying guy had gone before! And, it's more like a FWB relationship than professional. She never counted the money until she got home, I know because she never asked how much, and about 10 mins after she left I called her to make sure she wasn't dissapointed in the amount. So, all that said, there are a very few ''legit'' ads on C/L, you just have to learn to screen them, and then write MORE than a one line response. In this case she said she wasn't going to answer any of the letters because she didn't know if she could go through with it, but liked mine because it was funny.

So there's my perspective. Obviously, YMMV, but I've always found the results, like in anything else, are only as good as the effort you put forth.
