I made the mistake of stopping by Yellow Rose last night. Let's just say that the strip club scene is like a person in the last phase of cancer. What a total bummer, below average looking talent and all they do is hound you to go get ripped off for a VIP dance on the couch.

I was at YR a few months ago and though the girls hustled hard, there were some I liked and I had a pretty good time overall. I went back a couple weeks ago and it has devolved into what you describe. They will hound you for tips, for drinks, for dances. It doesn't matter if you say no to them joining you, or tell them you're interested in someone else, they'll insist you should tip them for talking to you, for being on stage even if you're not near the stage or watching the show, etc. I had one dancer walk up to me, pull her panties aside to show me her business, then tell me I owed her $10. I left and won't be back unless I hear it has changed.

I know. Ever since that ordinance went in effect, it's a huge hit an miss at most SCs. I went to GC over the weekend (after a few weeks) and the prices were now $25 for a dance and the songs were not even 3 minutes long. On top of that, there were guys constantly almost walking into the booths checking in the dancers and patrons. Cute girls, but not worth the $8 cover charge plus $10. 50 for two beers.

I wish Platinum Plus was still open! .

After the Purple church and Danny's closed the the clubs are a waste of time. The only reason to go now is to meet other friends and I don't go much. Why pay to have the blue balls when you can go get the pressure relieved. LOL

Over the past month or so there has been a lot of talk from dancers at Steve's clubs (Yellow Rose, GC and Black O) that clubs will be going back to topless in Oct or Nov. First heard it from GC girls saying that what their manager had said. (the new one) They want to make sure there is not any problems at his clubs between now and then.

I know the girls are sometimes not the best source but this info seems to be wide spread and constant. If they go back to topless but enforcing the 3 foot rule I had rather them stay bikini.

They have been saying that for years. Don't get your hopes up.

Sorry to hear about your time at Epic. At this present moment, Epic is the worst club in Memphis. Most of the ebony talent are scattered among Black Orchid, Yellow Rose, and to some extent Catwalk and Pure Passion. In addition, pimps still run the girls in the club.

If you go to Black Orchid, then find Venom. She is the best ebony dancer I'm Memphis; she looks like a model but has a Diesel engine in that booty!

I've practically lived in all the strip clubs since 1995. Seen them go back and forth from totally nude on the stage and floor to totally covered several times. From extras galore to none whatsoever. What I will say about Epic is, the girls can give a lot of mileage with just alittle money (my experiences anyway). I never pay for lap-dances in the back, I just tip (slowly but steadily enough to keep her attentive and the girls will almost always pull the thong to the side, down or even off. Plenty of grinding on jr and I'll say about half the time they will pull jr out and give alittle bit of a HJ (to try to get you to pay for the VIP extras anyway).

I know that the number of girls has diminished since this summer, but if you want to avoid the thug crowd, try thurs nite around midnite, or Friday evening around sunset, or Sunday late nite, that should be the time where there is enough there to keep you entertained and the girls work a little harder for the money.

I've only been to Orchid twice, not enough to be a good judge. The first time I had a good time with Attractive (known her from NYNY) the second time was a weekend, club was packed but I wasn't impressed with the talent. Not enough big butts, not that nite anyway.

I miss the glory days of the mid to late 90's (ebony lace, king of clubs, purple church) I formed a lot of long term ATFs from those days, Speaking of that I'm still looking for utr thick not bbw girls with big azzes that provide BBBJ and cim is Definitely a plus. Any help would be very appreciated.

She was charging me 70 dollars for one dance. I was not about to blow a chuck on money just for some grinding with clothes on. I will surely be heading to the Black Orchid this weekend. Learned my lesson.

The club is back open under a new name. Nice set up, upgraded the furniture. VIP dances are 25 (girl has to pay the bar 5 bucks per song). The overall talent is probably the best in Memphis.

I ran into her at the club. I asked why she was still here in Memphis and not back in Miami. She proceeded to give me a sad story about her sick relative, how it's expensive to take of her, and there is no money in the club etc. Obviously the takeout menu is available now. The menu starts at 5 franklins. I laughed. She's built like a porn star, but that's why too much to throw at a potential YMMV!
