I like the club. Not quite as wild as the pony and younger prettier girls than GC. Dances are more private than GC as well.

A good mix of girls of all shapes, sizes and colors. Can really get busy on weekend nights though.

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about hitting the club this weekend and wanted some advice.

I've been to the mainstream clubs like The Pony, Gold Club, and Purple Diamond but have been wanting to check out some others.

Was thinking about trying the Catwalk or Candyland but wanted to see if anybody would recommend these? Also wondering if these clubs are cool with white guys or if I should steer clear?

A few years ago my occupation brought me the region around where the Pony is located and was my regular stop. While business doesn't take me to that area of the city, while in Memphis I had some downtime and went a little out of my way instead of going to the GC.

Arrived in daytime hours and parking lot was a bit active and hoped I wouldn't be the only customer in the club, when I am the only one or one of very few, I feel like I'm blood in the water and the dancers circle around me.

There were a few dancers around and no one on stage and after a few minutes I looked around. Only customer in the club. Two dancers invited me to their table and the blood in the water didn't take long, off we go to a more private area getting both girls at the same time. Memorable experience.

Prices are little steeper at Pony than the Gold Club and GC, someone will be on stage. Pony lap dance area feels more private than GC.

While my visits to Memphis clubs are typically daytime, there is a very obvious difference in daytime and nighttime experiences. Daytime, the dancers know the customer is there for a short time (ei, lunch, etc) and get to business quickly. Nighttime visits to GC in past few months have been far from eventful.

Last place I did go is the pony because long time ago like 8 years maybe was a good place to get something around 5 PM some girls get out from the day shift manage to get like 4 different ones but I was a very regular so they know me pretty good every time I got a dance will be talking they tell you if they need extra to pay bills or something so I did spend some good money. Last year I did go was so bad didn't stay too long so is much better to find a scort they took the fun out this places.

The club at Brooks and Airways has rebranded again. Diamonds of Memphis is the new name. I haven't been yet the only thing I know is that Sam that managed at Catwalk for several years but ha as been gone for a couple is working there. I hope to check it out soon.

Hey RationalityLoL. Due to medical issues I haven't done much clubbing recently but here's what I know. Your options are limited:

Pure Passion. On Brooks Road. A few years ago I stopped in one afternoon before they really got started, but as a paleface I wouldn't think of going there now at night, there is a thug element at this club. Actually I have no idea what goes on there, or if it's still open, be careful if you check it out.

Candyland. On Lamar north of I-240 - very tiny, used to be an adult bookstore. I went 3-4 years ago, hardcore porn on the TV, maybe 4 dancers mingling with the customers, dancers probably just after tip money, but who knows. It could be very different now.

The Gentleman. On Thomas Street, north of downtown. No info, I've driven by it but never gone in, not sure if it's still open.

Catwalk. On Lamar north of Winchester. I haven't been there in years, see recent review here.

V Live. At Winchester and Mendenhall. Used to be Christie's, I've never been there, have been several shootings outside, may be closed down by the city as a nuisance.

Your best bet by far is what used to be the Black Orchid at Brooks and Airways. It has changed names, I drove by there just this past week, there is a new sign but I can't remember the new name. They open at 7 pm, there was activity when I drove by. I went in late 2018, about 5 dancers came over, 2 or 3 were giving me the handshake but they all were annoying to various degrees and I wasn't interested in any of them. In past years there was a dancer there called Infinity that did extras, possibly some like her still around.

You could try the "traditional" clubs for extras. Gold Club, Purple Diamond, and Pony. Not likely though, my friend. Happy hunting!

I was wondering about this club also, so I drove by there a few days ago, there have been no changes in months, there is no sign on the building, the parking lot is not paved, etc. Did some reading and saw a May 16 article in the Mississippi Clarion Ledger about the Jackson Danny's losing a discrimination lawsuit filed by 5 black dancers. The dancers were awarded over 3 million dollars. This large financial hit must be the reason that the remaining construction and opening of their Memphis club has been put on hold.

Hey Guys,

I am from Chicago but I come to Memphis periodically for work and to visit family.

I have heard a good bit about Memphis strip clubs, and I have a thing for black women. So I am looking for some strip clubs with black girls that offer extras. Chicago used to have a lot of this, but now is pretty dry unfortunately.

Any advice on where to go?
