The last several posts truly demonstrate the power of a free-marketplace of ideas to strengthen a community.

Kudos to the authors of posts #9749 (EasttnFun), #9753 (Broome333), #9754 (OldGeezer11) and #9755 (Dgtn1); those posts are all well-written and represent a snapshot of the vast spectrum of ideas that inform our community. The posts also demonstrate the varying degrees of commitment to the different ideas, which, in turn, creates wise observation, compelling argument and, ultimately, forward movement for us all, together alone.

There are things that are worn out and things that are tried-and-true; there are things that are new & fresh and things that are dangerous & risky; there are things that are over-priced at $1 and things that are under-valued at $400; these realities are not mutually exclusive to one another.

We all hunt different game for different reasons: the technician, the artist (I'm talking to you OldGeezer11 & PaperMaker), the negotiator, the hit&quit, the gentleman, the gun slinger, the flirt or, of course, the danger junky; hunting the spinner, the UTR, the wild-child, the voluptuous, the kind, the eager-to-please, the kink, the talker, the SA, the hard-core, the unicorn, the listener or simply the fresh & new; "to everything there is a season, turn, turn, turn" (The Byrds & Ecclesiastes).

But we are a community, correct? We are for each other and not against each other, am I wrong?

I know we are all looking for the same thing: better, safer hunting grounds (for the monger & the provider alike), but more to the point, better and safer hunting grounds that produce the maximum Win-Win outcome for all of us.

We are Young & Old, we are Senior & Regular and while, yes, there are some "douche canoes" sprinkled in, each (whether it is a young Senior Member or an old Regular Member) probably has more to share than not. So young pups, don't jump around and yap so much (Bandit Rex, I'm talking to you), just share some valuable information (or at least try and share some valuable information) and grumpy old dogs, we need young pups or the entire hobby will disappear on us.

So, I'll end where I began: East, Broome, OG and Dgtn, great writing, I am certain the entire community appreciates it, I know I do.

I guess we all have our styles and ways of getting what we want out of this hobby. I've been in it for about a dozen years now and started with being approached by a streetwalker and surprised with her performance and low price. Ha! How things are different now. It was actually a local streetwalker that told me about this site, I had no idea. When those doors opened I had a whole new playing field from which to choose. No more "strolling" and trying to find that diamond in the rough on the "loop." Well now it is trying to find that diamond on a given website. It is exhausting so I tend to find a diamond I like and stick with her. When I have that pull to try something different for the sake of variety, 9 out of 10 times it is a huge disappointment. So back I go to the old reliables. Moral to my story is, yes there are the "same old hoes," but those are the ones that have stuck around, made it through the hard times and have learned how to treat a man. They are the ones that are reliably and repeatedly worth my time and money.

I'm a Free Market guy ...... There is no such thing as GPS or paying too much or too little for something. The transaction is based solely on perceived value by the buyer. That is why you have CEO's of major companies getting 15 million dollar bonuses or Pro Athletes making 30 million a year.

The Free Market is why I have solely went the UTR route and I play the long game to get there. I don't use SA and I no longer use anyone who advertises.

It takes me 2-8 weeks to play the long game of getting a UTR from the restaurant industry, I currently have 3 UTR's, by playing the long game I've never been stood up, only paid what both parties agreed was a fair amount for the product.

Because I have put in all of the work to cultivate a UTR I get to reap the benefits of the Free Market System, no other person has a right or is entitled to the fruits of my work. HOWEVER ....... IF THE UTR is in need of extra assistance, the UTR decides how many buyers they want to see and negotiates the pricing for that product with that person.

To top it off after 10 minutes and just starting to get close, when I repositioned myself, she hoped up jumped out of bed and said that's it. Your time is up.

You hit that square on the head SN. Donation rates vary widely and the problem seasoned mongers have is that too many newbies donate the requested amount with little or no negotiation. It just inflates the rates and drives the donation even more over time.

For some mongers, when they find a provider that their interested in, yeah a ben for a hhr or a ben and a Jack or grant for hr (with tip if satisfied) is the range they're comfortable with. After the first meet, the lady knows your legit and have the donation to give and don't give her any hassles or problems.

From that point, play it cool. If you like her, see her again but the second time, see if she can lower it a bit, because "you don't have much time" or are "a little low on play dough". Usually works for me. After that, if the lady is in need, she will probably let you know (sometimes too often) that she's available and "would like to see you again", like your any different from others. Once they do that, the door opens and you can get even lower on an acceptable donation.

When that happens to me, which is often, my response is something like "thanks baby, would love to see you but I've only got XX on me. If you can't see me I understand. I'll have more on me in a few days and can see you then".

For me it works 4/5 times on average. If a lady reaches out to you, usually means she needs to renew the room, get a fix, get food or whatever. YMMV. It's important on how you play it.

The unfortunate thing is we have way to many unknowledgable mongers / newbies that just give the requested amount, without negotiation. Seriously, treat it like your at a flea market, where everything is open to negotiation. Not like your at a retail store and pay the tagged amount without question.

We drive the market, not them. Don't ever forget that.

IME this works quite often. If your nice to a provider, treat her with respect and leave green when you leave, she may cut a donate on a known legit monger rather than book an unknown newbie who has agreed to a higher donate but might back out for whatever reason, and she's left with nothing.

Helpful hint. When I find a lady who treats me well, makes me happy and doesn't play games, I randomly will leave tips and that helps alot towards future visits.

Just my experience and just IMO. YMMV.

Be cool, treat the good ones well and watch where you walk and who you share info with. Blows my mind sometimes how some mongers think they are entitled to the secrets of the trade without having any credibility or having shared any viable / valuable info.

I have never been one to tell others how to spend their money, but this is good advice to heed no matter how long you have been in the hobby. I have to admit it took me way longer than it should have to realize that you didn't have to pay "sticker price" in the hobby. I threw away a lot more money than I care to admit. The best way to deal with GPS is to starve it out. If they lose enough money they will either get out of the business or lower their rates to the point customers return. That means we have to be willing to walk away from a bad deal and start the search over.

I had a dream of Candy Curves the other day and if you are one of the many "seasoned" guys who share similar tastes & takes with me, and you haven't seen CC, you need to push through your anxiety about her rates or her verification process or whatever and dream of her. You owe it to yourself.

As a voluptuous woman, CC may not be for everyone, but as a fellow monger just said about a recent visit with her "I felt like I was dreaming with the Prom Queen". But, even being discreet, I can say this about our dream, it was insanely long (2 hours) and, all hyperbole and BS aside, after 40 years of hobbyist dreams, this past dream with CC was one of the very best I've ever had.

I met this one a couple of days back, my first encounter. I set up a outcall for hhr for $. 20 as I was driving through Knoxville.

As is my custom, on my first encounter I don't haggle over price. After the first visit I adjust based on my experience.

Communication- 8/10 she replied promptly and stayed in communication as much as possible as she traveled. At the time she was having phone issues.

Timeliness- 9/10 this is becoming more important to me all the time. I had to wait just a few minutes but nothing over 10.

Looks - 5/10 She is the woman in the pictures but is a little older looking, she has a great ass, small breasts, more of a mature spinner.

Attitude 7/10. Shelly talks a lot. I wasn't bothered by it at all. I prefer the give and take. You can tell a lot about someone by just letting them talk.
