Ruguy we are boring the others. LOL I quit after this.

On the contrary good doc, this has not been boring in the least to me, as I have been reading with much interest all the posts about goods and services and the prices they command in our hobby. I love the fact that this site not only provides contact info and reviews on providers, but goes well beyond that into deeper, more thoughtful issues. So here are my two dollars worth of opinions on the major points regarding.

- the high price some are willing to pay

- the high price that some are able to command

- this runs up the price

- this is unfair to those with lesser means

The bottom line to me is that this is no different than the law of supply and demand for any other commodity in economics. Sure, there may be a very small minority IMO, but I venture to say there are few that would pay much more than what a UTR is worth. I acknowledge that worth is a matter of preference, but based on my own observations on worth, I agree with what the DrH posted, 'I go for ones that without cash won't go for me. LOL. Something I can get at closing in any local watering hole I don't want. I want the 18 year old drop dead gorgeous honey that wouldn't look twice at me without some $$'. The more valuable a good is perceived to be, the more it will cost.

Sure there may be exceptions, but in general this does run up the price, but only for those that by and large can command premium prices due to what they bring to the table. This does not pertain to most of those that advertise on BP, and even less so to SWs. They are there because that is where they are able to play. The UTR arena by virtue of the number and quality of its players and playees, can command higher prices. Doc told me a month ago that to play with UTRs requires much more resources. And there are more with more resources than he has than we may realize. So, I at best, can only play with the lower end UTRs.

Finally, sometimes I wish life had dealt me a different set of cards. Yet at the same time, I know one has to know how to play with what they have been dealt, and one could end up losing many hands if they play unwisely. The good doc and I have had some good interaction over the whole UTR arena, from its lower to its higher ends. Lord knows that if I had lots more means, I would be spending lots more, and would be losing much more if I did not learn how to play wisely.

Life is not fair. I've told others that many times. Class envy has been around for millennia, and it will continue to be. But in economics, and in a free market economy such as ours, I say the law of supply and demand is neither fair nor unfair, but rather it is what it is, a law that functions by and large on its own merits. And it is what makes the privileges of our country so good to have been born into. I for one would love to drive Ferrari's but have learned to be content to drive Hondas and Toyotas. And I look down on neither those that drive the Porches nor those who drive 15 year old Chevys. I am just thankful to have some cards with which to play.

If I didn't like or was unable to play the game well, then I would choose another game. High stakes poker is not something I can do, so I just happily choose games with lower stakes. If a guy with higher resources shows up at my table, he may be able to outbid me, but I think he would soon realize that he is playing below his means, and would end up not being called on almost all his bets. There are some exceptions, like those that get a sense of satisfaction from seeing others not being able to compete with them (but DrH does not seem to be this type). But I think he'd move to a higher end table pretty quickly where the winnings are commensurate with his resources.

Your a good man rguy. I'll quit joshing with you and deliberately stirring you up. I was admitting I do give them too much. Not bragging. But the fact is there's plenty of money here. Way more than than you think. More than I got (more than I'm willing to spend too). Couple of us got way outbid by some bigger fish for a young student in local watering hole. What they gave her amazed me. Easily work out to be $100k+.

Also, trying to tell you the expensive stuff is the Outback, Hooters. The boys with more resources than me are in there. So the take out can get what she asked. Is that personality disorder? Don't think so. But if you say so. Fine.

But did I blame others success for the takeouts price. Nope. Ego and hubris? Yep, partially. We agree again. But trying to tell you even this not NY, LA or Vegas. There's plenty here with the massive resources to use. That ego. Sure partially. But your wish that competition disappear.. not going to happen. I'd tell you to go where they ain't say to the east side or WH but one of lawyers with big $$$. Its his favorite spot.

We do agree except that its the other fishermens fault. Lots of places to fish. One just moves to a new watering hole and casts a line in. See what bites. But the other fishermen aren't the problem. Don't take frustration out on them.

Thanks for the offer of "personality disorder". But she sounds out of what I would pay too. Not to mention, I have plenty take out with personality problems already (and my own to deal with, LOL)

I have no doubt you will be very successful and I wish you well and will help fellow brother in the sport. This one you should have just shrugged off though and not get frustrated with your sporting brothers success. Be happy when the other fisherman hauls in a big keeper. We'll cheer for you when you do too.

Getting even the faintest worked up over take out. Prescription for a disaster IMO. They ain't worth it.

I think that's a justified complaint, comment, rant, whatever. No matter what your personal wealth and ego, you overpay at Outback and get the prices raised so that those of us who want to eat at Outback can't, or won't, because we can't or won't pay Morton's prices, you're an ass. I'll pay Morton's prices for a Morton's quality steak; if some asshole is polluting the well so that a McDonald's quarter-pound beef patty is priced like a Morton's filet, I'm going to comment.

And actually, Doc, I was trying to give you credit. You love to brag about how much you pay, but from previous interactions (and we've even met & shared a drink) , I was pretty sure you were not one to overpay just to toss money away; I guess I was wrong.

A more accurate analogy:

A poster here goes into a 4 star restaurant. Finds the meals very expensive and he wants to pay the price of a BigMac for a Filet Mignon. Perfectly fine so far if you can pull it off. More power to you. Impressive if you can. No biggie to this point.

However, the poster finishes his rant (his words) by blaming the other diners who ARE paying the price and ENJOYING the Filet he covets for cheap. He says they are responsible for raising the price of the Filet around here (silly conclusion, IMO). Compounding that assertion, the one lusting for cheap Filet creates collateral damage by blaming his predicament on a 4 star diner not even in this particular restaurant. The 4 star diner, for sure, not responsible for the price that particular Filet wanted (and as I pointed out can probably easily get).

So (me jokingly teasing the complainer) says something about the complaining and assigning blame to 4 star eaters of Filet.

Basically, my point is / was: 1) Why the heck are you in the four start restaurant wanting to pay for a BigMac; 2) Quit blaming the other diners enjoying the Filet who don't care about the price and 3) , You should have headed for MickyD's in the first place. Call your BigMac a Filet and enjoy it lustily.

I like free Filet if I could get it too. But one rule I learned in this life. There ain't no free lunch.

I did think the purpose of this site was for info? Forgive me if I'm wrong in that. If I were going to take a stroll, I would come here and see if anyone else has info / locations / and LEO presence. Yea, I was proud of my Wendys girl adventure, I felt the need to share here. I thought it may be good for other old ass ugly dudes to know We can get lucky, for free, going to a less likely location. Strip clubs, UTR, BP, CL, etc. Are great places for the hobbyist. Occasionally it's cool to read other adventures as this. So I thought.

You have to talk to them. Can't just look at them across the room or counter. Look them in the eyes and talk to them get to know them and find out what they need or want. Most guys guy stare at T&A sit with closed lips. You can't exploit them if you don't know what makes them tick. As Doc has said it will take time and cash. That should get you started tho.

Honestly, half the battle is confidence. Most people with the kind of confidence this takes, however, are already in various relationships that keep them out of the game so to speak. Confidence is also required for relationships. People often confuse confidence with being an outright asshole. I can attest to the fact that you can be confident and not an asshole. Literally all you have to know (and believe) is that the absolute worst that can happen is rejection. If you clean yourself up, dress nice, and strike up conversations, you can probably get a lot of action for free. Adding a little bit of money into the deal just sweetens it.

As far as the rest of the bitching on here goes about prices, the entire market is vastly unregulated. The only thing keeping prices where they are is word of mouth and people having access to things like Backpage to see what average prices are. Case in point, I met a girl in one of my classes when I was in college that was all worried about her job. In passing, I told her I just got my loans so I was set. I let it stew in her mind for a few more days and finally just flat out told her I needed to get laid but didn't have time to hunt someone down and start a relationship. I think I gave her $100 for the first time and had a booty call on speed dial for almost the entirety of college. If she ever needed money I'd give her some but she didn't ask 99% of the time and I didn't offer any up. I'm not going to say that I'm the best looking guy but I'm certainly not the worst. She was probably a 10/10 knockout and was in law school at the time.

Another time, I went to a massage parlor and was flat out told that I was a good looking guy and shouldn't have to hit those places up for a massage. A few weeks later I saw the person at a bar and she said hi, I asked her if I could get a massage at home because my back was killing me. Best massage I've ever gotten, complete with oils, and there was certainly a happy ending, for free. I can't give any specific advice of how to do things, but Doc might be able to. I think it would be a good read, personally.

I have been in this hobby for nearly 30 years now, and some of the best experiences I've had have been encounters with UTR "amateur" types. I'm a late-40's guy, who has only ordinary looks and a decent income. However, by approaching fast-food workers, convenience store clerks, waitresses, girls who work in low-paying retail jobs, etc, I've had a regular gold mine of sexual experiences. Most of these girls tend to be under 30 yrs old, attractive. And appreciative of "little help with bills." Throw in an idiot bf or baby-daddy who has treated them poorly, and a little simple kindness & respect (along with cash LOL). Well. It goes a long, long way.

Agree with all. Fits my experience perfectly. Every now and then gotten one that was clingy and hard to shake off. But usually they do move on to the next user / loser BF and are gone. Keeps variety in my life.

I had some amazing take out last night, Fresh, juicy, warm, please me in every way. Didn't cost a fortune either.

The Deal- I wos pondering where to have dinner. Feeling indecisive between fast food or Sit down, I chose fast food. I drove around a little and decided on Wendys. I went in and was greeted by this cute little thing behind the counter. She took my order, a Baconater combo, side salad, and a sweet tea. We chatted it up while the food was prepared. I sat down and that's when my dream started. Just looking at that burger made my mouth water. It was all and more than I was hoping for. As I took a bite, the juices ran down my chin a little, I was in heaven. This was the best burger I've had in a while. 5 guys don't have anything compared to this one. I slowly enduldge in the delite of this awesome burger. I didn't eat the salad and barely drank any tea. I didn't want to ruin the event. I highly recommend this adventurous burger. I know I will repeat at least 2x a week.

Oh and BTW, the little hottie joined me when her shift ended. We continued our chat and she needed a ride home, which I was more than happy to offer. During our conversations she showed some interest and flirted as did I. She said she is having a hard time coming up with enough money for her bills this month, they cut her ours at Wendys. We got to her placed and she offered me a drink. I accepted the offer, She brought me sweat tea with a shot of whiskey in it. Told me that's the only liquor she had after her bf moved out last month. I didn't mind, as she asked if I cared to hang out while she took a shower. Of Course I waited. She may have been collecting her nerves in the shower, when she came out 30 minutes later, she had a towel wrapped around her. Didn't say a word, just walked over, took my hand and lead me to her room. She had an amazing body, no kids and young, I explored every inch. This morning we got up, had a small breakfast, and did the dead again, showered together after. We exchanged #s and agreed to keep this our secret. HAHA. I took some cash from my wallet and handed it to her. She was took aback for a minute and said "I'm not a working girl" I assured her I didn; t think that and was only wanting to help her with the bills this month." I was going to give you some cash with or without getting laid" I said. She only smiled and kissed me deeply. She has since been blowing my phone up with texts, I think I did things that poor little girl has never tried. She said it was amazing and wants me to come back tonight, Who am I to say no?

So gentlemen, I am still amazed where true take out is available and how inexpensive it can be. After following along the "I have more money than god" vs "You're ruining it for those who can't lay down that kind of smack" I have to put my $4 in this by saying "Who Cares!" We get what we can when we can get it. Don't hate the players, Don't hate the game, just live within your means. Personally I have spent from $0. Upwards of $1k locally, driven 1000 miles, flown across the country and to foreign asian lands to get laid. As it's been said, if you can't afford to play then don't. But as you can see, We all can manage to get laid without spending a cent. This game is played not only with money, but with grace and style. Learn the tricks and savy it takes if you can't afford to pay the price.
