I've heard some flip out when you crush their high with narcan. Any truth? Not that I've ever cruised around for a sw. bucket list item

Cruising for SW is definitely riskier than other options. Given the increase in car jacking and violent crimes, this might not be the best time to start, if you don't have to.

Personally, I think the AMP scene is the best option.

One time I picked up a chick off the street. As we were going to the stomping grounds, we drove past another chick that was knocked out face down in the street on the road next to traffic. I ask the girl I picked up what we should do and she says we should help the second girl. We pull over and check on her and she is not responding. The first girl yells for help and asks if anyone has narcan while I try to get the second girl to wake up. Eventually, the second girl wakes up but starts flipping out. She was pissed about the possibility of being narcaned and accused me of being a cop or something.

Weird experience.

I carry narcan but luckily never had to use it. I'm not in the medical field so don't take my words for the gospel but narcan is for when someone has used an opiate and in 20 minutes or more they start to slip away as in their eyes are starting to roll in the back of their head, their lips are starting to turn blue and / or they're not breathing normal (death rattle maybe).

If you're in this situation administer the narcan and use your knuckles to massage right in the middle of the rib cage between a person's breast because it has an odd feeling that will help revive them. And yes, often people who are saved become angry and combative because you robbed them from their high. I would call 911 also to cover your ass.

That said, if you pick a woman up and she falls asleep as you're driving she's probably not overdosing. They're just heavily sedated due to the opiates and xylazine. It's a dam shame. It's very dangerous to be that out of it in strangers cars. I had girls tell me they nodded off in a dates car and woke up sore in areas that shouldn't be or had holes cut out in their clothes or in total different locations that they didn't know about.

Personally I don't like girls using around me to avoid the whole OD issue but once I was in a motel and a date I knew very well wanted to party. She hit twice and she was out on the floor for a total of 4 hours before she came to and took care of me. I just checked on her breathing every so often while I watched TV. Unfortunately as one of my favorites she's gone now. Been 2 years and she barely made it to 30 years of age.

I've been carrying Narcan for several years, and have had to use it once. But not on someone that was with me, a woman waiting for the trolley in West Philly. It's good to be prepared in the city, it could get you out of a jam, and having some to give away has worked to my advantage. AND it's free, so not really any reason to not have it in the truck.

Thanks Shampoo. I agree with you about being prepared. It would be foolish for any of us not to be prepared for possible over dose in our vehicle. Any time we venture into the deeper end of the pool we better know how to swim. I think it can be agreed some of those people have a death wish to begin with. Why else would they put some of that stuff in their body? Doubtful they care if they die on the street or our car.

I'm not pointing fingers. I'm just saying we can't get so pussy drunk that we lose sight of the possibility of death from drugs. It is all around us there. Why not take every precaution? To sit back and allow a person to die when we can attempt to prevent that shows poor character on our part. To say the least.

I believe many here are not aware Narcan is available for the asking at no charge at Prevention Point. So, why not take advantage of that safety net. They instruct people on how to use it. Anybody can go in Friday noon till three. Check the hours online to be sure. No questions asked. Simply tell them you want to carry it to be safe or assist when you can. Don't even need to give your name.

Personally, I would prefer to have Narcan than to have any person die in my vehicle and not have it. I can't think of one good reason given the game not to carry it.

I will say this, carrying Narcan is a better option than dealing with a police investigation that could be prevented. How many members here can afford to deal with that if a person dies in their car?

Another reality is the shit the dealers cut the drugs with only increases the possibility of that happening.

I would be curious how others here feel about this. Also, what their actions would be if they did have to deal with a person that overdosed and died in their car. Any takers?

Let's keep in mind people can get arrested for doing to little to save a life. Now, if a girl gets in our vehicle there, chances are it's on a live video feed somewhere. All one needs to do is look around at all the surveillance on the strip.

All that said, safety is our most important tool. Protect ourselves and those with us is important in order to continue the game. Me, I'm just an 'OL Gator.

Looks like one monger manages risks of the streets by being prepared for ALL contingencies.

What's better having Narcan to save a dying girl or have her OD in your car and then having to take her to an ER or 'splain to LE what was going on???

I'm sure there are other dumb things a monger could do in such a situation, but probably turn an innocent situation into charges for them self.

So yeah, have youse all thought of what legal things you would do in a similar situation? Are you prepared for what the streets dish out?

Not sure what the question is? Narcan is a responsible response to a possible OD. When there is no response to mild pain stimulation or loud sounds that indicates a possible OD Narcan should be given. Me, I'm just an 'OL Gator.
