Most of the AMP action if that's what you are looking for are in Center City, about 10 minutes away due north of 95 if you're driving. You can probably use uber around and another one common in the city is zipcar if you don't have your own ride. I recommend the 9 VIP or AZN delight. There are some previous posts in the "Massage Parlor" section for some useful intel. I recommend you read them first prior to you venture there. But either way it is a bit of an unusual dance to get dressed without cross contamination. Then again, I guess I am germaphobic when it comes to places like that. Hey- at least I don't take a super-sized can of Lysol in with me a fog down the room! But hey, maybe that is an option! No smoking. Unless one wants to be "enlightened" in the fog!

Those are some good stories. I enjoyed reading them. Although the SW scene was not a good fit for me, (Plus I now own a very very small car that I can't hope to do anything in) I do support you guys that are out there and enjoy reading your reports. I just stink / stunk at "the hunt", and in the early days burned more fuel than anything and a few times up and down the avenue makes me feel excessively self conscience and obvious about what I'm doing.

Are there those spots still about where one could find some fun? I recall a few years back that video store with the booths where you could invite a chick in with you, or that bar / club on Allegheny that had dancers that you could spend some time with in an upstairs room. It's been a few years so I forget the names. Aren't those still about? I remember when I started out trying to find a few places that I could chill out and cool my heels before heading back out and continue on exploring the avenue or that were alternate destinations for some activity.

I'm not out there these days. Life currently does not allow for it so for the meanwhile until I can come out and play I'm living vicariously through the exploits you all are having. I especially enjoyed that bit of Philadelphia history Gator!

I have spotted some YouTube videos of Kensington from the 70's and Kensington still looked bad. And of course, in the first Rocky movie in 1976, the Kensington location wasn't exactly like Rittenhouse Square.

My guess is that Kensington was probably decent in the 1950's. It started to decline in the 60's and in my estimation, the major turning point was the 80's when it really went downhill and the streetwalkers invasion really started to take camp in full force. Just my guess though.

This pretty much encapsulates the entire city of Philadelphia and every other major city of the Northeast and Midwest.

Girls was working the Ave earlier than 1968. That's as far back as I can remember as that was the year I came to Philly. At Kensington and Lehigh where the playground is now stood a Bar / hotel called the Peacock lounge. It was a hang out for the Motor cycle club Dragons. It could get very wild there. Cops was always there to break up fights or just to raid the club. The Motorcycle gang would put their property, as that's what they called their women, on the corner across the street by the Steak shop. They would do just about anything for $5 - $10.00. I had some acquaintances that ran with that particular gang. Seemed they was in a constant battle with either the Warlocks or The Breed or Pagans. Three other clubs that ran the area in and around Philly. These were very real motor cycle clubs. Not like the Pansies that run the streets today. Those guys wouldn't be caught dead on anything but a Harley. The garbage they ride today and call themselves a club amazes me. Anyway, I was told by these members that in order for a woman to get in and ride with the club they had to fuck every club member in front of the rest of the club.

These guys that rode with the club had some strange ways on how to show how tough the are. I was hanging with a couple guys one night they had been drinking quite heavily. The beer was Ortliebs. Anybody remember that beer? Anyway one guy had to take a leak so he pissed in the quart beer bottle. The other guy to show his mettle then grabbed the bottle and drank the contents. He offered me some and I politely refused.

Thinking back to those days it was a time when the teenagers was huffing airplane glue, tywall, and weldwood cement. These teenagers and many of the streetwalkers would go bonkers on that stuff. One would need to be careful getting a BJ from these girls. They would put the chemicals into a brown paper bag or rag and bring it to their face like an oxygen mask. From the heavy breathing some of the glue or other chemicals would form a ring around their mouth. If that got on your sensitive parts one could get a nasty burn where they didn't want one.

It was around that time I think that spray paint began getting locked up. The glue and weldwood cement and other chemical purchases I D was needed to show that person to be over 18.

I remember that time so well because there was a Blonde girl that hung around K and Lehigh and she would actually chase cars for a date. Run right up to the window and flash what she had to offer. We called her Crazy Nicole. She was a very pretty girl when cleaned up. She lasted out there a good long time. It's only the last ten years she stopped showing up around there.

That was a time when ten bucks could get you out of a traffic ticket with almost any cop in the area. I know because I personally made some of those deals.

The Peacock eventually burned down causing the motorcycle club to move to another location. At least those that hadn't been locked up yet. LEO was constantly stopping those bikers and always giving them a hard way to go. A lot of those cops couldn't even spell motorcycle but they would write a ticket for something else.

As LEO became a little more aggressive to the area the girls began to move to other areas. Somerset was next on the pickup spots. Some girls worked there. Others found their way to Cambria. The dealers, they was called the pushers back then would follow wherever they went so they could get their treats. Dope and Coke was beginning to flood the area. For a while most of the girls hung at either Somerset, Cambria, or Lehigh.

As crack began to take hold of that generation a group of girls moved down to Letterly by the laundry. That was the spot the mongers would do their turn around to head back on the strip. We called them girls the $5. 00 girls. I could be wrong or lucky not sure which, but I don't recall good pussy being more than $10.00 back then.

Eventually as more and more girls became aware of how easy it was to get a few bucks many decided to try their luck. This caused others to spread from Cambria up to Westmoreland. Avery residential close knit neighborhood. The neighbors didn't like what they saw happening and it wasn't long before signs went up selling at whatever price they could get for the homes just to get out.

Prior to the influx pf the girls minorities was unable to buy homes around there.

As the girls had a small foothold around Westmoreland the pimps began to show up and offer the girls morning wakeups if they would work for them. That was Teddy and Abdul along with a few other wannabes. Bishop had established himself on Boudinot below Cambria. He was in pretty much control from Cambria and Kensington to about the underpass at Lehigh.

Now these other pimps was controlling the area from Westmoreland to Venango where Little Lous is. There was not much action from Cambria to K and A. K and A being a high transit area then as it is now. Only then there were morals that were followed. The pimps got many of the girls away from the glue huffing and turned them on to Crack Cocaine. With that shift in pleasure meds came an increase of prices. The girls didn't care how much they got for pussy as long as they could get high. The pimps would tell them how much money they needed to bring in to stay at the flop house. Some girls didn't like the rules or conditions. They left and decided if they was going to suck dick they wanted all of the money. Rightly so. They moved up to Sedgley, Buckius, or Pike St. Pike St. Being a prime area for a long time until recently. Now it can be hit or miss. Some Queens now frequent the location. Some girls headed north into Frankford. Others went to Orthodox and Torresdale. Eventually some of those girls moved even farther up Torresdale around Tyson and above where they remain today. The Frankford ave girls went as far as Rawhn and Frankford where depending on the time of day they also remain. These locations may not always produce. It takes patience and a lot of gas to find these girls many times. Yet these are the areas that have always been productive for me.

So is this to say these are the only places to find women? Not by a very long shot. This is just my observation of migration over the years. There are many beautiful women available In town and South Philly. As always it depends on your comfort zone. Others here may also have some "memories" to share. I would find them interesting. I do hope this is the info Waldo was looking to find.

Old York Road used to be quite the candy store. I happen to be a fan of the thicker women of color, and much less of emaciated WSWs. So the K really isn't my scene, though in the 90's I started out down there. Back then the actual park of Hunting Park was like one stop shopping but for the last at least 10 yrs, no go. There is still fun to be had, but also some real scary creatures as well as probably disease carriers. One of the big differences in the K and OYR is the habits of the SWs. If she looks like she's been up for 3 days, keep going. In my experience, this is where many SWs who have relapsed come back to.

I try to think with the big head before gratifying the small one. So I am cool with taking a ride, seeing some prospects, not feeling 100 and grabbing a chicken lunch and heading home without a date. Having said that I have had probably at this point, close to a hundred times where I have found, picked up and closed the deal on a friendly, Super thick, beauty. 9 times out of 10 their expectations of donations are very reasonable. I don't prefer to quibble, its worth it to me to have a good time. If she gets in and everything is legit, I take her to my decades old safe spot (I'm sure some other mongers know it) and I give my date twice what she was expecting. Afterwards I will offer to drive them wherever and 99 out of 100 times they want to go to the Chinese store on Pike and broad. As they exit I tell them, remember this face so next time I see you we can dispense with the cat and mouse and I roll up, you hop in. Because I know that they know that in the land of raggedy mongers haggling / negotiating over $10 , this monger just made their day.

Without being too specific, I would say stay to the south of the stroll, the north end is kinda dead. And for the last 10 yrs or so I am almost always a daytime monger. At night there is action, just also a lot of trannies. This stroll is as hood as it gets so pack your good judgement along with your wallet and wet wipes but on the plus side, I have fostered relationships with girls up there where I didn't see them for literally 10 yrs, drive by, there they are 30 lbs heavier in the T&A and I'm like "Come to Papa". My best advice is the age old "Go with your gut". Despite the rough landscape I have met some beautiful, thick, clean, friendly and accomodating BBWs up there. Hi fellow forum members, I just had a question about one of the old hunting grounds. I was checking out the maps for the Philadelphia area (Old York Road stroll) and decided to take a drive. When I got there, I didn't see anything action. Also, I don't hear talk about that area anyway. So my question is, What happen to that area or was I not looking in the right places?
