With the states (along with the feds) closing all salmon fishing from Bonneville to Buoy 10 our Labor Day fishing plans came to a screeching fucking termination. The ocean & hatchery Coho were still an option yet with it being Dania's first salmon trip & my fishing buddy's wife coming along wasn't willing to gamble on bar conditions. The tides weren't bad but wind predictions didn't look all that promising & my buddy decided he wasn't willing to get static about it from the seasick prone wife. Just happy we didn't have some non-refundable fees this year...

Instead pivoted to see if my favorite clients beach place will be empty Labor Day weekend for a salacious getaway. That produced a headache of telephone tag this afternoon especially since Dan had got Sunday off for her birthday & I'd promised her some sort of special "surprise".

Yeah, first world (sic) problems yet nevertheless irritating to my usual sunny & cheerful demeanor...
