Hey man. Can you make a swing through the Bay Area? It's a ways off I-5, and traffic can be pretty bad, but International Avenue in Oakland is a great stroll. If you go there after 10 pm you are guaranteed a range of options: there's something for every taste. Way more than Portland. Check out the forum on this site; not a lot of posts but don't take that as a reflection of lack of action. We just don't have anyone as prolific a writer there as Zavi is here!
