These Asian ads that look too good to be true, almost invariably are. Check out the Northern Virginia forum on this site -- NOVA has a real lack of good providers, so guys often go for the Asian ads and there are a lot of comments about them there. Generally, the business model is to say whatever it takes to get a monger to show up. They'll show you beautiful pics, promise amazing services, just to get the guy in the door. Many times, a guy won't walk out and they get paid. I also wonder if some of these places are actually trafficking, which is a horrible crime that should not be supported ever.

So, especially in Portland where there are LOTS of alternatives, I would avoid the "Asian crap shoot". (They call it that because once in a long while, you actually get something close to what you were after).

In my experience you do not get what's advertised. The one that explicitly states "No old mamasan" or whatever asked for a selfie from be before they would give me room number, which I did not give. So I can't say for sure that particular ad is false advertising. But I've seen posters in Vancouver and in East Portland recently and they were both dissatisfying experiences. Not only are they not as advertised, but the experience they offer is mechanical and can be actually unpleasant.

A couple of years back there were Asians advertising in downtown PDX. I had a few really good experiences there. The girls were always in their 20's and usually really fit.
