Good question. I intended to make a post on the same lines.

Probably Chinatown is your best bet. NIMBYs don't like to see men coming and going from businesses after dark, which is why most places outside of downtown close around 9 or 10. But many places in CT keep the neons on until or after midnight.

Went by 905 the other night. The sign on the door says to call their number. That sign replaced the sign that said they were closed until February 1 for remodeling. Maybe they couldn't get the city to sign off on a new business permit knowing what goes on in there.

Drove by 251. Lights off. Signage still up so they are probably still in business. Don't let your paranoia get the best of you.
