I have frankly not had either of those problems. Could be my time of day, late afternoon to early evening, but even on my overnights, I haven't had any issues. I also don't patronize the "bookstore".

I've never seen much in the way of action around the Manor itself. Well, not much of which I'd want to avail myself. An occasional opportunity, but since the Manor itself has a rep, it tends to be just a destination for those who've made arrangements, rather than an area in which arrangements are made.

So there I was, checking out the Louisville Manor. It looked sleazy enough, but I didn't see any signs of activity there or around the area other than exploring the "peep shows" attached within: which, in my experience, are gay hook-ups (not exactly what I was looking for).

I've never seen much in the way of action around the Manor itself. Well, not much of which I'd want to avail myself. So, after reading a few post, I decided to point my GPS in the direction of Portland. Got there around 9:00ish and saw a few WSW but nothing to my taste. Beings that I'm not a car-date-kind-of-monger, I explored a little more for a notel in the area (just in case) but again, found nothing. Am I missing something Loui? Few years ago there WAS alot of s' w' activity around the "Louisville Manor", as well as girls standing at the room-windows (probably watching for "browsing" mongers & "incoming" incall "johns" as well as for patrol-cops) but heavy cop-patroling has decimated that insurgency!

As to cheap "notels" there is "Clarke Motel" on same side of Dixie just a few blocks south of the Manor: little old-time-type horse-shoe-shaped white-stucco-building park_in_front_of_your_room motel; day-rate there is probably about the same as 3hrs at the "Manor". On other side of Dixie, much farther south, probably into Valley Station, is "Arches" or "Archway": it's a real-old-fashioned "tourist-cabins" style, with an entrance driveway between a couple of commercial-buildings\store-fronts, & sits back behind those buildings; never stayed there: looks like the kind of place where somebody in the next cabin could be cooking meth or dealing crack! Way farther south on the east-side of Dixie, actually south of Snyder Freeway if I remember, is "Little Biffs" motel: dumpy little L-shaped brick_&_clapboard roadside motel with a GRAVEL parking-lot in front of the room-doors: just few blocks from the "2_strip_clubs_on_1_parking_lot" (DixieBell & SinDin) , the day-rate there is probably less than 3hrs at the "Manor" would be, but you might be able to negotiate an hourly-rate: I don't know; I once had 4 dates in 2 days with a crack-head former-stripper who was living in a room there: she was still pretty at 30ish, an enthusiastic romp as long as she'd had her pipe an hour or 2 before, & she demanded me to role-play {nothing DANGEROUS to EITHER HER or me, however} in HER kinky fantasy which made her even more horny!
